hi, up for sale is my 2004 freightliner sprinter 3500 dully. I purchased this truck for extra sandy work that I received and needed another truck. Most of the jobs have been completed and no longer have a use for this. It is a 2.7 Mercedes Benz CDI 5 cylinder Turbo diesel engine. Starts right up and runs great as well as the Mercedes transmission with auto stick. Transmission filter and synthetic fluid service was done when I bought it. This sprinter has the optional aux heater that produces instant heat and engine preheat. Put on 4 new wheels when I purchased it so wheels are in great condition. Paint was recently done I was told 2 years ago and is in great shape. Truck has minor dings and dents from normal use. no rust. Injectors and glow plugs were done within the past 2 years. Inside has shelves installed see picture I will clean out truck for the buyer and pictured tools are not included. Front bumper is new but is missaliged on drivers side but easy fix if you chose too. Windshield has 2 chips in it but not big enough to fail inspection. Took the truck through inspection with no problems when I purchased it. Truck has 206000 miles. Truck has aftermarket radio. Dodge to reveal Hellcat-powered Challenger in Detroit?
Fri, 10 Jan 2014On top of all the other performance car debuts slated for next week's Detroit Auto Show, we might be able to add one more to the list - the new, supercharged Hellcat V8 from Chrysler. According to new reports, the rumored 640-horsepower mill is likely to cross the Motor City stage in the engine bay of a Dodge Challenger.
As AllPar points out, though, there may be more news than just the fire-breathing engine. While we've seen spy photos of the Hellcat testing under the hood of the current Challenger, there's a very fair chance that it won't arrive until the muscle car is refreshed later this year. The question now is whether that refresh will be shown off alongside the new engine in Detroit, or if it'll be saved, perhaps for the New York Auto Show.
Other details dug up by AllPar include potential transmissions for the supercharged engine - the Mopar-minded site is expecting an eight-speed automatic or a Tremec six-speed manual. Prices, meanwhile, could be in the same elevated range as the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, at $70,000 to $80,000.
Has Dodge stepped in it again with Scat Pack lawsuit?
Mon, 20 Oct 2014Lawsuits are an unfortunate part of doing business in just about any industry, so the latest complaint filed by a California-based aftermarket firm against Chrysler would seem to be nothing more than business as usual. But this isn't the first time the two companies have sparred over this particular issue.
According to a report from Automotive News, the dispute revolves around the Scat Pack name that Chrysler first offered on the Charger, Coronet, Dart and Super Bee starting in 1968. Scat Enterprises, a manufacturer of crankshafts and other components for Dodges and other vehicles, sued Chrysler for using its name. A few years later the Scat Pack disappeared from the Dodge catalog.
Fast forward to August 2013 when Chrysler applied to register the Scat Pack name anew. The US Patent and Trademark Office turned down Chrysler's application, but the automaker proceeded anyway, unveiling new Scat Packs for the Challenger, Charger and Dart at last year's SEMA show.
