Greetings!
What we have for sale today is a 1999 Dodge dually Ram 3500 Cummins turbo diesel pickup truck which I have owned for four years or so. You can jump into this truck and drive cross-country today. I purchased this truck to move my race cars from the East Coast and San Diego to Grass Valley, and since all projects are done, the truck is ready for its new owner. The rear tires will need to be changed out in the next year or so, and the A/C has a slow leak needing a top-off every month or so.
The truck has seen a lot of miles so feel free to call or email and ask questions.  The paint job could be better and the dash has cracks.  This is a work truck but you will love it.

Pros:
reliable and always starts
two batteries
gooseneck trailer hitch
rear tow hitch
electric brake controller
airbags on rear
new injector pump
new front tires
new shocks all around
new alternator
new radiator
EDGE chipped and legal in California
gets 22MPG at 65-ish
just passed smog
clear California title in hand
heavily optioned
power mirrors, windows, door locks, seats, trip computer
4 doors (2 regular and two crab)
tons of power

Cons:
1. 308000 miles
2. sometimes the trans slips in overdrive around 50mph but is fine above and below that speed
3. has been in an accident in the front (not on my watch and the guy used sheet metal screws to hold on the bumper rubber)
4. seems to burn water but no obvious leaks and no overheating even when towing
5. cracked windshield
6. driver seat has a hole in seat fabric  (see pic)

Sold As-Is and Where-Is.
thanks,
bill

2019 Dodge Charger SRT revealed in spy shots before reveal

Fri, Jun 8 2018

Last month, Dodge teased the updated 2019 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat and its new grille with air intakes. Now we get to see it before its full debut thanks to these spy shots. We can see that the grille is one of the few things that has changed for the 2019 model year. It also appears to have a new hood that has extractor vents farther back than on the current model. We can also see that this new grille is on an SRT 392 Scat Pack model, not the Hellcat teased a month ago. This seems to imply the grille will be applied to all Charger SRT models, or at least offered as an option. Aside from the grille and the hood, the rest of this new Charger looks like the outgoing version. The bumpers, spoiler, side skirts and lights all seem to be carryover. As such, we're not expecting anything else to change radically under the hood or chassis. There's a possibility one or two engines pick up a few horsepower, but we don't expect much more than that. If anything else changes to the 2019 Charger, it will probably consist of colors, options and maybe even another trim level. We'll know more about it when it makes its official debut this summer. An updated version of the Challenger will be revealed at the same time. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Are you the Dodge Dart SRT4?

Tue, 08 Jan 2013

Dodge has just confirmed that it will be bringing its newest Dart variant, the Dart GT, to Detroit next week, but we're still in the dark about when we'll see a truly hotted-up SRT4 version. But now, by way of the rumormill anyway, we've got at least one proposed, potentially Dodge-based rendering to light our way.
Seen here is what would appear to be a design sketch of the SRT4 Dart. Obviously the image that has surfaced is of rather low-resolution, but there's at least some evidence to support that it may be legitimate. In the original picture, one can just make out the name Tim Doyle in the lower right corner. As it turns out, Tim Doyle's name is also watermarked on the final design image for the 2011 Dodge Durango Citadel Black & Tan, a model that was shown at SEMA in 2010.
Of course, even if this really is the work of Doyle, there's nothing to say that this image isn't one of a great many potential looks for the future SRT4. In fact, the departure of the cross-hair grille from the Dodge's nose seems like it could be a hard sell, though we do, naturally, dig the sleek hood scoop and the bulked up wheel/tire combination.

As Dodge Challenger changes, hybrid or however else, it's sure to stay retro

Thu, Aug 15 2019

Unverified rumors claim Dodge will make major technical changes to the Charger and the Challenger (pictured) to comply with looming regulations. They'll likely be lighter than they currently are, they could get smaller in nearly every direction, and you can safely bet that they'll incorporate some degree of electrification. The retro-inspired, heritage-laced design is here to stay, however. Mark Trostle, Dodge's horsepower-addicted chief of design, told Muscle Car & Trucks that looks deserve a big chunk of credit for making the Charger and the Challenger as popular as they are. Horsepower and quarter-mile times help sell cars, but it's the "magic of their design" that lures buyers into showrooms to check out the modern-day muscle cars in the metal. "I wouldn't want to ruin something that's been so successful for us," Trostle concluded. He compared the Challenger to the Jeep Wrangler, another design icon in the Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) portfolio. The offroader entered its fourth generation in 2018; every part of it is new, and it's not a Xerox copy of its predecessor, but it's still immediately recognizable as a Wrangler. Trostle hinted he's planning this type of evolutionary design for the next-generation Challenger. After all, it's part of the company's history, and heritage is something no amount of money can buy.  While it sounds like development work on the next-generation Challenger is ongoing, Dodge isn't finished with the current-generation car yet. The nameplate will celebrate its 50th birthday during the 2020 model year, and it's reasonable to assume Dodge has something special planned for it.
