Dodge Ram Diesel SLT Duelly
Hi! I'm a 1994 Cummins 5.7 Diesel without all those electronids
they put on the engines today. I have lived my entire life in this
1994 Dodge Ram 3500 Dually. Our friend who takes care of us,
has done his job since 1996 when I had rolled only 18,000 miles
now I have 184,000 and the poeple who know say I'm probably
good for another 300,000,so you see I'm still young at heart. My
friend who owns me has done lots of things to me. I'll list a few
1. Full Banks Power Pack. (increses my power by almost double)
2.Pak Brake. 3. Transmission overhaul, even though nothing was
wrong, they removed the original strut (make of 3/16 tin) and
replaced it with a 5/8 stainless strut - at the same time they replaced
the torque converter housing with a 5/8 stainless housing so it won't
worp when it gets warm. The torque also has a drain hole so all of
the trans. fluid can be drained and replaced.  Oh! ! - they also installed
a Torque Converter Lock so if you watch the full set of gauges that
are mounted on the drivers door pillar and you use the Pak Brake
you can have an easy drive up and down even the steepest mountains.

Excellent Condition,
Banks Performance Kit,
PAC (engine) Brake,
Heavy Duty Automatic & Torque Converter.
Includes AMSOIL engine oil with bypass filter.
Automatic Transmission also using AMSOIL ATF.
65 Gallon in bed fuel tank, 100 gallons total fuel.
In bed tank is diamond plate aluminum with locking tool box, sits flush to bed rails.
Light weight Aluminum camper Shell
I have owned and driven this truck for 15 years.  Always maintained properly, always driven gently.
Light Gray cloth interior with green dash mat.
The BEST 1994 available!

Chrysler investigating complaints of vehicles with faulty power modules

Sun, 24 Aug 2014

Chrysler owners are hopping mad after experiencing a series of electrical gremlins in some of the company's vehicles. Issues range from mere annoyances - windows rolling down and radios turning off of their own accord - to serious safety issues, with headlights that randomly shut off at night and cars that stall and refuse to start.
The issues are being blamed on the total integrated power module, which can cost up to $1,000 for customers to replace. This, of course, has led to a hefty batch of complaints to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, with 240 owners expressing their displeasure so far. Another site, CarComplaints.com, has registered over 300 complaints relating to the 2010 to 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango, alone, according to The New York Times.
Chrysler has acknowledged that it's investigating the complaints and is analyzing the faulty TIPMs, but that isn't quite enough for customers of the affected vehicles. The newspaper has snagged a few of the more harrowing tales with the electrically challenged Chrysler products, culled from the NHTSA complaints.

Old vs. New: 2014 SRT Viper takes on upgraded 16-year-old Dodge Viper

Fri, 08 Feb 2013

It's easy to play the "Would you rather have a New X or an Old Y with a bunch of upgrades?" game more often than we care to admit, but the crew at Car and Driver have taken bench racing to the next level with their latest video. In it, the magazine pits a brand-new 2014 SRT Viper against a highly modified 1997 Dodge Viper GTS. There are 16 years between the time this particular GTS rolled off the production line and when the new car bowed, but that doesn't mean the old snake's owners have been sitting on their hands.
Thanks to a spate of modifications, the GTS offers up a better power to weight ratio than the new machine, but is that enough to overcome the technological leap forward represented by the 2014 Viper? We won't spoil it for you. You'll just have to check out the full clip below for yourself.

Roadkill pits every project car against each other

Sat, 22 Feb 2014

The guys behind Motor Trend's monthly Roadkill series have collected nine of their favorite project cars from their videos and pitted them against each other in a battle royale to determine a winner. It's 44 minutes long, but it's completely worth the investment of time.
The cars run the gamut from a 1973 Chevrolet Ramp Truck, a 1975 AMC Pacer and a legitimately impressive 1967 Chevy Camaro, and they are pitted against each other to see which is the fastest around an autocross course. The drivers include Roadkill's two hosts and Motor Trend's Johnny Lieberman and Carlos Lago. It's reminiscent of the best episodes of Top Gear and worth a watch.
So it's the weekend - the perfect time to relax. Grab your preferred beverage, get comfortable and enjoy 44 minutes of some seriously ratty but utterly cool project cars as they are throttled within an inch of their lives (or past it). Scroll down to check out the video.
