im selling my 2004 dodge ram 1500 SLT 4x4 with the 5.7 hemi. i have owned it since 8-09 and its time to let it go and let someone else enjoy this one of a kind truck this truck turns heads everywhere it goes. never been smoked in or had any pets in the truck and had seat covers to keep the seats looking like new. it was been well cared for and never pulled anything since i've owned it and always garage kept and maintenance on time. i have not drove this truck during the winter as you will see in pictures. there is no rust on truck anywhere! last summer had the rack and pinion replaced along with a new pump cuz it started to get some play. and had put in aftermarket head and tail lights. and upgraded to HID headlights. (very bring at night) and debagged the truck also at the same time. about 6 months ago had a sounds system put in. has a JVC deck and 2 kicker amps with all new speakers and kicker sub. sounds very good. there is zero distortion very clear sound! put on new rims and tires. has 20 inch rims on it and the tires have 75% life left on them. the tires are Nitto Tran Grappler M/T 305/55R20. and put on flow master exhaust has the super 40 muffler. sounds very good on start up and when you give it gas and always when driving down the road its not to load. when it was at the shop for rims and tires went and did a full service and had the tranny, the transfer case, front and rear differential, fuel filter replaced to keep up on the maintenance. last week. had the out tire rods changed upper and lower ball joins and a 4 wheel alinement. this truck needs nothing! everything has been changed and serviced in the past 6 month. it doesn't leak, drip or burn any oil. it drives straight down the road and everything is very tight on the truck its like new. it will get 15-17 down the interstate and 19-20 down the highway when using cruise control. very cold A/C and the 4 wheel drive works like it should. everything on the truck works. there is a lot in vested in this truck in the last year. over 6k in just the stereo, rims and tires! the pictures don't do the truck justice at all! (don't have a good camera) looks way better in person you wont be disappointed in this all blacked out beautiful truck. and im sure im forgetting some things so if you have any question at all feel free to ask and ill get back to you right away! happy bidding and bid with confidence like i said you will not be disappointed in the way the truck looks and drivers and sounds!

here is a link to show the value of the truck( remember this is for a stock truck) well over 6k invested into this one. my lost is your gain!

Chrysler earns $1.7B in 2012, revises product plans for US

Wed, 30 Jan 2013

Hot on the heels of Ford's earnings announcement for the year that was, Chrysler today reported a 2012 net income of $1.7 billion, up substantially from the comparatively minuscule $183 million profit earned in 2011 when it repaid its US government loans.
Chrysler's good year ended with an excellent fourth quarter that saw net income rise 68 percent from $225 million in 2011 to $378 million. Where are all those extra earnings coming from? Market share, which Chrysler saw increase to 11.4% last year on sales of 1.65 million vehicles. In fact, the Auburn Hills, MI-based automaker out-paced the industry's market growth of 13 percent last year with sales up 21 percent for the year.
The company also revealed an updated product plan for its Chrysler Group and Fiat brands that looks all the way out to 2016. It's an updated version of the plan introduced in 2009 shortly after Fiat took control of the American automaker, and includes such new additions as an Alfa Romeo model, likely the 4C, to be introduced in the US this year, as well five more Alfa models by 2016. Likewise, Fiat will be growing by an additional seven models in the coming few years.

Chrysler recalling 644k more Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee SUVs over brakes

Wed, 02 Apr 2014

Early last month, we reported on Chrysler issuing a preemptive, proactive recall for about 25,000 units of the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango. The issue revolved around a brake system that wasn't causing any actual problems, but delivered an unsatisfactory brake feel, so Auburn Hills called in a good 25,000 of SUVs around the world, including 18,700 in the United States.
Now Chrysler, having apparently determined that the brake problem on its sport utes is actually much bigger than it initially realized, has drastically broadened the scope of the recall. As a result, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall for precisely 655,354 examples of the Grand Cherokee and Durango, covering the 2011 through 2014 model years. In addition, Chrysler is recalling 42,380 units in Canada, 21,376 in Mexico and 159,685 overseas.
The problem which Chrysler found revolves around the brake booster, whose center shell has been found to be subject to corrosion, allowing water to get into the brake system. That water in turn could freeze, preventing the brakes from working as well as expected.
