Trim: Power Giant
Up for bids is my nice 1958 Dodge W100 Power Wagon Power Giant. These are rare trucks and there were only 290 of this model produced in 1958. This is one of the best condition Power Wagons that I've had and was going to keep it forever but sometimes the toys have to go. It has the 315 V8 engine, 4 speed trans., but was originally a three on the tree. I do have the original 3 speed trans & floor cover but its condition is unknown. Runs & drives great, has the 4.10 gears, 108 inch wheelbase, newer tires & brakes. The brakes are down now do to being in long term storage but they worked last time it was out. The motor is to belived to be the original with the motor numbers being L8D3-20052. The motor was also rebuilt with not many miles put on it but I have no paperwork to prove it. Runs 40 pounds hot oil pressure going down the road. The blue under the hood and the inside was the original color but was painted white many years ago. This is one of the most rust free straight trucks I found and is mostly all original. The temp guage & fuel guage also work. All the glass is good. This would be an easy to retore or I would just keep it as is. Call Mike with any Questions you might have at 402-362-7938. NO EMAILS PLEASE as I'm not near my computer much. Heres your chance to own one of the rarest Dodge trucks out there today SO DON'T MISS OUT!!! THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION so BID TO WIN!!!!!! I also have this truck for sale locally so the listing may end early if I sell it here first. Thanks for looking & HAPPY BIDDING!!!!

Chrysler recalls 350k vehicles over ignition switches
Thu, 25 Sep 2014Chrysler has announced a recall covering 349,442 vehicles due to ignition switches that can either become stuck or move without warning. All of the affected vehicles are from the 2008 model year, and were built before May 12, 2008.
The automaker has learned that ignition keys on some vehicles "may not fully return to the 'ON' position after rotation to the 'START' position during engine-startup," the company said in a statement. Additionally, "an ignition key may not fully return to the 'ON' position after rotation to the 'START' position and may inadvertently move through the 'ON' position to 'ACCESSORY' or 'OFF.'"
Chrysler says it is unaware of any related injuries, and notes that while reduced braking, engine or steering power is possible in such instances, the airbags are not affected. The later stands in contrast to General Motors' recent rash of high-profile recalls, and it's an important distinction that Chrysler (understandably) felt necessary to call out in bold print in its press release.
Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat gets 22 mpg
Thu, 18 Sep 2014With its crazy 707 horsepower on tap and roughly $60,000 starting price, the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has been one of the most talked about cars of the summer, maybe even the year. However, there's always been one lingering question about the behemoth that Dodge has waited to answer until now - its fuel economy. The EPA ratings for the muscle car are finally out, and the numbers are actually pretty impressive for a vehicle with this much power.
A 2015 Challenger Hellcat with the eight-speed automatic is rated at 22 miles per gallon highway, 13 mpg city and 16 mpg combined. Opting for the six-speed manual drops those figures to 21 mpg highway, 13 mpg city and 16 mpg combined.
"As the fastest muscle car ever, the Challenger Hellcat can run 10-second ETs [elapsed times] at the track, and then get 22 miles per gallon on the drive home. With a starting price of $59,995, there's nothing else that even comes close," said Dodge and SRT President Tim Kuniskis in the company's release.
Explore Dom's 1970 'off-road' Dodge Charger from Furious 7
Fri, Apr 3 2015The Aficionauto, Christopher Rutkowski, already drove Dom's 1970 Dodge Charger from Fast & Furious and Fast Five. Now he's returning to the franchise for an interview with Dennis McCarthy, the vehicle coordinator on the last five Fast and Furious films, plus a close look at the custom off-road Charger that's one of the automotive stars in Furious 7. Given his resume, when McCarthy admits this is his new all-time favorite vehicle from the franchise, it really means something. Don't worry. McCarthy is careful not to spoil any of the film's action while he shows off the Charger and Shaw's fast attack vehicle that takes on the Dodge. McCarthy does reveal the one car that he still dreams to build for the series, and it's something that every fan should see. This looks like a fantastic blockbuster movie season for anyone that loves to watch cars crash and explode on the big screen. Furious 7 is in theaters right now, and based on the trailer, it promises the biggest stunts ever from the long-running franchise. And in just a few weeks, Mad Max: Fury Road hits cinemas to add a dystopian tinge to the automotive action.
