2000 DODGE DAKOTA R/T 5.9 EXTENDED CAB PICK UP.
HAS NITTO 555 ZR TIRES,HAWK RED BRAKES,RECENT MOPAR FRONT END REBUILD. POSI REAR,HEALTHY EXHAUST,BED COVER AS SEEN.THE FULL SIZED SPARE IS THE SAME TYPE OF WHEEL THAT'S ON THE TRUCK.BED HAS BED LINER. THIS TRUCK IS THE BEST HANDLING TRUCK I HAVE EVER DRIVEN AND IT'S GOT THE POWER TO GO WITH IT. THE HOOD PAINT IS A BIT FADED AND A SPOT ON THE FRT. BUMPER BUT OVERALL THE TRUCK IS VERY CLEAN.THERE ARE A FEW CIGARETTE BURNS ON THE DRIVER'S SEAT AND DOOR PANEL...NON THAT BURNED THROUGH.THE ORIGINAL OWNER WAS AN OLDER GUY THAT SMOKED WITH THE WINDOWS DOWN.CAR DOES NOT SMELL OF CIGARETTES.TRUCK HAD REAR BUMPER AND TAILGATE REPLACED A FEW YEARS BACK DUE TO MINOR REAR END HIT.THIS IS A GOOD SOLID TRUCK THAT NEEDS SOME TLC AND A NEW HOME. Subaru Legacy pitted against Roadkill project cars
Fri, 05 Sep 2014There's an evergreen debate among auto enthusiasts about whether they would prefer to have the latest and greatest car of today or a certified classic from yesteryear. What if you had to further define that, though, and the choice was between a brand new 2015 Subaru Legacy or a turbocharged Datsun 240Z with a hatch that wouldn't close? Roadkill aimed to find out that and more in one of its best videos to date.
According to the hosts, Subaru came to them, handed over some money and challenged Roadkill's project cars against its latest Legacy. The result is every bit as good (or better) than any automotive-themed show you could find on television.
Things start simple with a figure-eight race in a rodeo arena with the Subaru taking on Roadkill's 1968 Ford Ranchero, originally built for ice racing. From there the Legacy races a 1968 Dodge Charger with no windows around and off-road rally stage. Finally, the Subie goes head-to-head against the Rotsun, the aforementioned turbocharged 240Z, through an abandoned neighborhood. Plus, there's a bonus drag race challenging them all.
Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you
Thu, 21 Feb 2013As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.
Small number of 2013 Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger models recalled
Sun, 24 Feb 2013A small number of units of the 2013 Chrysler 200 (inset) and 2013 Dodge Avenger are being recalled over a broken control valve in the fuel tank assembly. The potential 1,785 sedans were manufactured late last year, and if affected with a broken control valve could suffer from stalling or fuel leakage.
A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration notes that the recall should begin next month, at which time owners can take their cars to dealers for repair free of charge. The full release with more information is just below.
