Black 2007 Dodge Charger 3.5l V6 - 67120 Miles on 2040-cars
Los Angeles, California, United States
|
I'm selling a BLACK 2007 Dodge Charger. --Specifications-- 17/24 MPG (City/Highway; though, I've noticed it gets better than that, up to 20/27 MPG) 16 gallon gas tank (currently ~ $50-60 to fill up, regular 87) Four Doors, Sedan Style, 5 seats, all comfortable Automatic Transmission Ample Trunk space (at least 3 whole bodies, up to 5 if you chop 'em up) Rear Wheel Drive V6 HO 3.5L engine @ ~250 HP (VROOM) Premium Sound System ft. 4 JBL speakers and a new, Clarion deck with MP3, Auxiliary input, built in Pandora compatibility, bluetooth functionality (up to 3 devices). No subwoofer, but has a remote. Large tires, chrome rims. Tires replaced within last year. --More Details-- I am the original owner, which means I have all service records. I bought it when it had 3 miles on it. No, not 3,000. Not 300. Three. It has never been in an accident. Mechanically, it has consistently been worked on by Dodge dealerships only, since I possess the lifetime, nontransferable warranty. I've brought it in to other shops for smog and oil changes, but it has only been worked on by Dodge mechanics for any issues it has had. The car was once keyed by some irreverent asshole (FUUUU), and my insurance allowed the car to be repainted in its entirety with the exception of the rear bumper (which I thought was kind of silly, but hey, it didn't cost me anything but time). *I still possess the lifetime warranty. If you want me to take this in to be serviced in full, we can work something out, provided I get a down payment of some sort and we write out a formal contract. The car needs an adjustment for the emergency brake, which I have taken in for service, but to no avail. I plan to call the dealership to scream at them in the near future, and I intend to have this problem corrected by the time I sell it. --Aesthetics-- The car has minor superficial scratches, and a tiny dent in the driver's door. The bumper has some minor scratches. Other than these minor issues, it is in perfect condition. LOOK HOW SHINY IT IS. JUST LOOK. It looks like the Bat Mobile from Batman Begins. Just don't do the voice. Nobody wins with the voice. There is a pussy magnet installed, although it is invisible**. A small calibration changes the polarity into a dick magnet, if you prefer to attract men. --Why Am I Selling It?-- I love this car, but I live in LA, and it's just a matter of time before someone smashes it to pieces. Also, as it's a large car, parking can be somewhat of a pain in the LA area. It's definitely still doable, but it's easier to have something smaller, which is what I'm going for. ...Plus, I need the money. I'm going into business for myself, and having some extra cash while I transition will be a lot easier. --You, the Buyer...-- I'd prefer if my baby went into good hands, and not into the soulless cold clutches of a dealership, where they will mark the price up and lie to whoever next possesses it. That said, I promise to be honest and forthcoming with any and all information about my car, the problems it has had, the advantages, disadvantages, etc. |

Auto sales in March and first quarter down nearly across the board
Wed, Apr 3 2019Nearly every major automaker reported weak U.S. sales for March and the first quarter of 2019, citing a rough start to the year, but said a robust economy and strong labor market should encourage consumers to buy more vehicles as 2019 rolls on. GM, which no longer releases monthly sales figures, saw first-quarter sales fall 7 percent, with declines across all brands. Sales of Silverado pickup trucks fell nearly 16 percent and the high-margin Chevy Suburban large SUV dropped 25 percent. Ford also no longer releases monthly sales numbers, but is due to release its first-quarter sales figures on Thursday. According to industry data, Ford's sales fell 2 percent in the quarter and 5 percent in March. Ford representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment. FCA reported a 7 percent fall in U.S. sales in March and a 3 percent drop for the first quarter. All of FCA's brands dropped in March, except for Ram, which saw a 15 percent increase in pickup truck sales. "The industry had a tough first quarter, but with spring finally starting to show its face and continued strong economic indicators ... we are confident that new vehicle sales demand will strengthen going forward," FCA's U.S. head of sales, Reid Bigland, said in a statement. Toyota reported a 3.5 percent fall in U.S. sales in March and 5 percent for the first quarter, hurt by declining demand for its Corolla sedans and Camry vehicles. "While some of our competitors are abandoning sedans, we remain optimistic about the future of the segment," Toyota said in a statement. Nissan posted a 5.3 percent drop in sales in March, and its first-quarter sales were down 11.6 percent. Honda and Hyundai bucked the trend. Honda's U.S. sales rose 4.3 percent in March and 2 percent in the quarter, while Hyundai's were up 1.7 percent and 2.1 percent, respectively. Passenger-car sales suffered throughout the January-March quarter compared with the same period in 2018 as Americans continued to abandon them in favor of larger, more comfortable pickup trucks and SUVs, which are far more profitable for automakers. The battle for market share in the particularly lucrative large-pickup truck market intensified in the quarter, as Fiat Chrysler Automobiles' Ram brand outsold the U.S.' No. 1 automaker General Motors' Chevrolet-brand trucks. The two automakers have both launched redesigned pickup trucks.
General Lee Dodge Charger replica jumps Dukes of Hazzard-style in Downtown Detroit
Sun, Feb 26 2017Ouch. That was our first reaction after we saw the video up above, in which stunt driver Raymond Kohn goes full-on Bo and Luke Duke in a specially prepared Dodge Charger right in the middle of Downtown Detroit. The jump looks good – and, courtesy of the whistling-Dixie horn of the Charger, sounds good, too – until you see the landing. Like we said, ouch. The ramp stood just five feet tall, but since the bright orange '69 Charger was traveling around 55 miles per hour when it launched, the car soared 25 feet in the air over a distance of 134 feet. That's pretty impressive. Apparently, the car was modified to take the brunt of the landing forces at impact to help keep Kohn safe (relatively speaking, of course). The stunt was a promotion for the 65th annual Autorama Show, which is taking place this weekend at the Cobo Center in Detroit. Scroll down to watch a video interview with Kohn that was shot right after the stunt, and stick around till the end to see the automotive carnage close up. This content is hosted by a third party. 2014 Dodge Durango leaks ahead of NY rollout
Wed, 27 Mar 2013Even though Chrysler will reportedly discontinue the Dodge Durango after the current model's lifespan - said to be around 2016 - that isn't stopping the automaker from improving its full-size, three-row SUV. The vehicle won't debut at the New York Auto Show until tomorrow, but images are already leaking out ahead of the embargo lift, and they show that the 2014 model is getting even more aggressive styling to go with more technology inside and out.
Dodge limited its early press shots of the new Durango to just the R/T trim level, but this new look adds a meaner look to this model with more dramatic projector-beam headlights along with a "floating" crosshair grille and a restyled fascia. At the rear of the Durango, LED racetrack taillights show a family resemblance to the Charger and Dart, while a new rear fascia adds to the styling while also allowing for an integrated trailer hitch.
On the tech side, the instrument panel looks to have been redesigned to include a standard seven-inch thin-film transistor (TFT) gauge cluster, and it also appears as if Chrysler's well-liked UConnect system has been updated with the 8.4-inch touchscreen found in other Chrysler vehicles. The 2013 model's conventional console shifter has been replaced by a rotary knob for gear selection, suggesting that there are transmission changes afoot as well. We'll have more details when the silks slide off this big boy tomorrow, so stay tuned.
