I am selling my 1969 Dodge charger. It has a 68 nose on it at this time. It is a 318 car and still has a 318 in it but it is seized. Its a automatic car and still has the tranny in it. I don't know the condition of the tranny as I never had the car running. It came with power drum brakes and air conditioning. It still has the brakes but I don't have all the air conditioning parts. It is a new England car and has rust issues. The frame is good except for a 5-6 inch section under the rear seat where the sub-frame and floor come together. It will need a new floor, trunk floor and rear quarters. It will also need a new set of front fenders to make it a 69 again. A tree landed on the drivers side sail panel and broke the window. I have another rear window and good chrome to go around it to go with the car. You can now buy all the sheet metal for the car from AMD. This is a great project car if you want to build it your way and know what you have in it. I have a clear New Hampshire title for the car. I am selling the car to help raise money for a garage. 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat en route to dealers
Sat, 15 Nov 2014Get ready, world: The 707-horsepower Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has officially been unleashed. But rather than just have the big coupes quietly arrive at dealers, Dodge has released this video, showing Hellcats loading up onto car carriers at Fiat-Chrysler's Brampton, Ontario plant. And yes, that is Mötley Crüe's "Kickstart My Heart" playing in the background. Of course.
This really is worth all the fanfare, though, considering Dodge will sell its ridiculously powerful, supercharged machine for just $59,995. And if the Challenger isn't quite up your alley, just remember, there's an equally powerful, 204-mph, four-door Charger Hellcat on the way...
Chrysler recalls 1.2 million Ram pickup trucks
Sat, 09 Nov 2013Chrysler has announced that it will issue three separate recalls that will cover as many as 1.2 million Ram pickup trucks for "steering-system tie rods that may have been misaligned during assembly or steering-system service." The vast majority of these trucks were sold in the United States, though some trucks in Mexico, Canada or overseas will be called in, as well.
The largest of the three recalls covers an estimated 842,400 model-year 2003-2008 Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks. Two smaller campaigns will bring 294,000 model-year 2008-2012 Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups, chassis cabs and 2008 Ram 1500 4x4 Mega Cabs; plus 43,500 model-year 2008-2012 Ram 4500 and 5500 4x4 chassis cabs into the dealer to be checked and repaired if necessary.
This is a very large recall, and Chrysler says it is "casting the net wider than necessary to identify those vehicles that require repair." The automaker estimates that "as many as 726,000 may not need repair."
2013 Dodge Durango R/T
Tue, 19 Feb 2013Not too long ago, Chevrolet got itself into some trouble by throwing the SS badge on just about everything it produced, so I've always been a little hesitant about the seemingly excessive use of the R/T nameplate on Dodge vehicles. For the 2013 model year, every model in Dodge's lineup has an R/T trim level from Dart all the way up to the Durango. Although the R/T name used to signified models made for road and track, I doubt anyone would be delusional enough to assume the Durango - and some of the other models wearing this badge - are suited for any sort of track duty.
Still, when this 2013 Dodge Durango R/T rolled up for me to drive for the week, I couldn't help but take in its big, mean and imposing stance. Sure, if I had my choice of buying any of the Dodge R/T products, the Charger and Challenger would be my top picks for sure, but it's easy to say that the Durango would be a close third - far above the R/T versions of the Avenger, Journey and Grand Caravan.
