1968 Charger Package Deal 1- 1968 Charger, 2-1968 Charger Parts Car, 3-1976 440 motor (1) 1968 Charger - 318 automatic original engine and transmission. 3 owner car. I am the third owner. I have too many projects so I am going to let someone else appreciate this one! It has bucket seats with the buddy seat with auto on the column. Has the four original 14inch steel wheels with trim rings, minus hub caps. Almost 100% complete interior and exterior! It has rust in the following areas: Front lip or hood, front lower corners of both doors and also lower door jambs at back of both doors, lower rear quarter on one side, the trunk, gas tank and rear valance. I have a new gas tank to go with the car. Under the hood compartment looks good to be 46 years old. The second owner told me he had the motor and transmission both rebuilt in 1986. He said shortly after it was rebuilt he had some carb trouble and just stopped driving it, less than a year later. It felt good turning when I put a pull handle on it. And yes it has the complete Hideaway light front end. This car has a clear North Carolina title in my name. (2) 1968 charger, this car is a parts car It has good doors, hood, and trunk lid. This car doesn’t have a windshield nor does it have a title, just a bill of sale. (3) I have a 1976 440 motor out of a 4 door New Yorker. This motor and 727 transmission is complete from tail of transmission to the pulleys and belts. It still has the alternator, power steering, AC and starter mounted up! The car it came out of had 76,000 miles and was being driven to the store and back until being pulled out. It ran and shifted great! Look at pictures very closely and decide if this is the project for you. Please do not Bid if you are not going to pay for car package. Ask any questions you may have prior to placing any bids. I will respond promptly and try to answer any and all questions before the end of the auction. The new owner will need to have these cars towed or hauled to their new home. Stellantis earnings rise along with EV sales
Wed, Feb 22 2023AMSTERDAM — Automaker Stellantis on Wednesday reported its earnings grew in 2022 from a year earlier and said its push into electric vehicles led to a jump in sales even as it faces growing competition from an industrywide shift to more climate-friendly offerings. Stellantis, formed in 2021 from the merger of Fiat Chrysler and FranceÂ’s PSA Peugeot, said net revenue of 179.6 billion euros ($191 billion) was up 18% from 2021, citing strong pricing and its mix of vehicles. It reported net profit of 16.8 billion euros, up 26% from 2021. Stellantis plans to convert all of its European sales and half of its U.S. sales to battery-electric vehicles by 2030. It said the strategy led to a 41% increase in battery EV sales in 2022, to 288,000 vehicles, compared with the year earlier. The company has “demonstrated the effectiveness of our electrification strategy in Europe,” CEO Carlos Tavares said in a statement. “We now have the technology, the products, the raw materials and the full battery ecosystem to lead that same transformative journey in North America, starting with our first fully electric Ram vehicles from 2023 and Jeep from 2024.” The automaker is competing in an increasingly crowded field for a share of the electric vehicle market. Companies are scrambling to roll out environmentally friendly models as they look to hit goals of cutting climate-changing emissions, driven by government pressure. The transformation has gotten a boost from a U.S. law that is rolling out big subsidies for clean technology like EVs but has European governments calling out the harm that they say the funding poses to homegrown industry across the Atlantic. Stellantis' Jeep brand will start selling two fully electric SUVs in North America and another one in Europe over the next two years. It says its Ram brand will roll out an electric pickup truck this year, joining a rush of EV competitors looking to claim a piece of the full-size truck market. The company plans to bring 25 battery-electric models to the U.S. by 2030. As part of that push, it has said it would build two EV battery factories in North America. A $2.5 billion joint venture with Samsung will bring one of those facilities to Indiana, which is expected to employ up to 1,400 workers. The other factory will be in Windsor, Ontario, a collaboration with South KoreaÂ’s LG Energy Solution that aims to create about 2,500 jobs. The EV push comes amid a slowdown in U.S.
The Dodge Challenger 1320 is rarer than the vaunted Demon
Tue, Dec 24 2019Dodge stopped making the 840-horsepower Challenger Demon after the 2018 model year, and it filled the gap the coupe left in its range with a slightly tamer variant called 1320. While it wasn't a limited-edition model, production figures released recently cement its status as a future classic. 1320 references the length of a drag strip, which normally checks in at 1,320 feet, and the name speaks volumes: It was built to go flat-out for a quarter mile. It offered all of the go-fast goodies found in the Demon, including a transbrake, a line lock, an SRT-tuned suspension, plus bigger brakes provided by Brembo, and it swapped the supercharged V8 for a naturally-aspirated, 6.4-liter eight shared with the Challenger 392 and tuned to 485 horsepower. It wasn't quite as quick as the Demon, but it remained a race car barely street-legal enough to put plates on, so it occupied a shallow niche. Dodge made 1,054 examples of the 1320 during the 2019 model year, according to Mopar Insiders. Of those, 1,026 units were sold in the United States, and the remaining 28 stayed in their home country of Canada. As for colors, 232 enthusiasts chose Pitch Black, making it the most popular. At the other end of the spectrum, 13 buyers ordered Maximum Steel, which is the rarest color offered to the public. One 1320 was painted in Yellow Jacket, and another in Billet, but they were pre-production cars. To add context, the firm capped Demon production at 3,300 units, including 300 for the Canadian market. The 1320 is returning for the 2020 model year, so it might ultimately become more common than the Demon, but it remains a rare edition that will turn heads at high-profile classic car auctions in a few decades' time. If you've got one, race it, but pamper it off the track, and hang on to it. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences.
