Burgandy Red with Red Interior. Tires are like new. No cracks in the dashboard. Smooth running. Very clean engine (16 cubic inch) and all digital components are in working order; no leaks; air conditioning is not working. Has 3 small surface rust spots and a few dents. Estimated cost to fix the dents and apply a new paint was given to me at $3,000.00; This was my late husband's car and I need to sell it unfortunately. All manuals and documentation on repairs and maintenance over the years will be provided."

This vehicle is well maintained and very clean. One Owner.  This does not have a Turbo engine.  Runs smooth.  It does have a few minor dents and dings.  Car was in a minor accident but wasn't enough to have it repaired or to file an insurance claim.  Estimated costs for new paint job and to remove the dents/dings is $3,000.00.  Air Conditioning does not work.  Went out just recently.  I do not want to put any more money into this car.  I need to sell it.  It belonged to my late husband and I could use the cash in my old age.  He loved this car and spent many hours with washing and polishing.  I do not think anyone who loves the Z cars will be disppointed, if purchased.  Shipping to be arranged by the buyer.  No existing or implied warranties.  All manuals and paperwork on repairs/maintenance will  be provided to buyer.

Meet the man who took a year sabbatical to drive his 1967 Datsun Fairlady Roadster

Tue, 28 Jan 2014

A quiet drive in the country can be the most relaxing thing in the world. What if it didn't have to end, and you could keep driving for a week, a month or even a whole year? That's what Scott Fisher is doing by taking a one-year sabbatical from work and driving his 1967 Datsun Fairlady Roadster around North America.
"I had owned a manufacturing business in Las Vegas for 16 years. I knew I needed to kinda' get out, and unwind, and get my mojo back," said Fisher.
Fisher's trip has covered over 30,000 miles through 44 states and 7 Canadian Provinces, and it is not over yet. He left from his home in Las Vegas, NV, last spring and drove to the Pacific. From there, he drove up the coast to the Canadian border and aimed the car for the Atlantic. He just posted on his blog about visiting the Nissan headquarters and museum in Franklin, TN, and his next stops are Mississippi and New Orleans, LA.

First new Datsun in decade sketched, set for Indian reveal

Mon, 01 Jul 2013

Nissan's Datsun nameplate revival will begin with two models bound for the Indian market. Nissan has released sketches of a five-door hatchback based on the Micra (codenamed K2) and a top-down view of a hood that could potentially be from a sedan.
The company's press release says all will be revealed on July 15 in New Delhi, India. The Datsun lineup will be first offered in 2014 to that country's ride-deprived residents as well as Indonesia and Russia. Later in 2014, South Africa will join the list.
We've heard Nissan plans for Datsuns to share platforms with company-owned Lada. In January, we heard the projected price tag could be around $3,000 USD to compete with Chinese imports. The official press release (which can be read in full below) says nothing about either of these reports, however.
