2009 Chrysler Pt Cruiser White Touring Wagon 4-door 2.4l on 2040-cars
San Diego, California, United States
I am selling my wife's 2009 PT Cruiser Touring Edition
This is a very clean car with the following features/condition: · VIN: 3A8FY58969T577725 · 2.4L SFI DOHC, 16V Engine · Front Wheel Drive · 4 speed Automatic Transmission · With a touch of a button, it shows you range, outside temperature, mileage, or direction · Power driver seat, windows, steering and locks. After market floor mats – my wife loves them · Radio (AM, FM and satellite-will keep till expiration) with single CD player · 70,558 miles – below average Gerutti DS806 tires show great tread left on them - at least 80% · Brand new brakes all the way around – around 1000 miles ago · Oil regularly changed. Mechanic is available to chat · Classic White exterior paint – no significant chips or dings. Rear wiper and defogger · Grey cloth seats – no flaws; Black steering wheel material shows some wear · Aftermarket interior horn chrome
button installed next to steering wheel on dash. Horn does not work via steering wheel – my mechanic thinks it had a short in it at some time. New horn button adapts
well with retro look – Very cool! Horn button is visible in photo - uses original horn. The only other idiosyncrasy is that the lights do not flash, nor does the horn sound when locked via the remote button. Mechanic says that is a microchip in the security system. It has never bothered me - I am simply trying to describe everything perfectly. · Car was first registered to a rental agency for 39,000 miles (that means regular maintenance); only owned in SOCAL · Carfax is perfect (no accidents) showing the vehicle is worth $150 more than book value · Edmunds private sale is $6486 and KBB private sale is $7165 · Am Selling because of Pending Retirement to Mexico - I bought a truck for those roads · Great gas mileage with enough get-up-and-go for San Diego freeway driving I have described the vehicle as best as I can. I have been on Ebay since 1996. Please check out my perfect feedback which includes several vehicles sold. Buy with confidence. Thanks for looking at my car. I |

Chrysler 200 prototype spied for first time with new body
Tue, 17 Sep 2013Chrysler is deep into testing for its next-generation 200 sedan, a new model that is utterly essential to the brand's continued health. The next iteration is tasked with wiping away anything reminiscent of the Sebring, which the current 200 is still based on. According to our spy, this is one of the first of the new 200s to wear a production body rather than the Alfa Romeo Giulietta-based mules that are thick on the ground in Auburn Hills.
Immediately apparent is that the new 200 ditches the awkwardly styled C-pillar that's typified four-door 200 sedans (and Sebrings before them) for years. The new, sleeker roofline is almost more of a four-door coupe than a traditional sedan, which hints that this new car will try to be more fashion-forward than its predecessor. The rear deck is set off by a sporty decklid spoiler, while a set of staggered rectangular exhaust pipes poke out of the bumper.
The front end appears sleeker, and we'd be lying if we didn't spy a bit of Dart through the camouflage, particularly with the headlights. A large, gaping lower air intake is visible, although our spy seems to think it'll shrink before production models debut. Whatever the new 200 ends up looking like, we expect to see a lot more of its styling from Chrysler in the coming years.
Chrysler launches new Ram ads and gears up for Super Bowl XLV [w/videos]
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Perhaps no car company has made bigger splashes in the last two years at the Super Bowl than Chrysler, and the automaker's marketing chief, Olivier Francois, said today that he plans to be all over the big game again in February.
Last year, the company made an ad featuring Hollywood icon Clint Eastwood. The spot achieved viral status quickly when pundits charged that Eastwood's lines were politically motivated; meant to appeal to progressive voters/viewers favoring a second term for President Obama. In 2011, agency Wieden & Kennedy burst into the game with a now famous commercial featuring Eminem. Both ads have supported Chrysler's "Imported from Detroit" marketing platform.
Francois briefed reporters Monday at the Detroit Opera House while he also debuted a new series of ads for the Ram brand.
Maserati's new North American CEO is Chrysler's dealer guru
Wed, 13 Nov 2013There's been a bit of a shakeup among the executive ranks at Chrysler and Maserati, as the Italian sports car manufacturer has appointed Peter Grady as its new North American CEO. Grady, who we imagine is about to get a very nice upgrade to his company car, will retain his role as vice president of dealer network development for Chrysler and Chrysler Capital, and is replacing Bob Graczyk at Maserati.
"It is with pleasure and anticipation that I welcome Peter to Maserati. He brings to our company nearly 30 years of leadership and experience. His background and industry expertise will be a great basis for the continued expansion of Maserati in North America," said Maserati CEO Harald Wester in a statement.
Also joining the team at Maserati is Saad Chehab, who previously worked for the Chrysler and Lancia brands and will be the new head of marketing for the Italian brand. He'll be replaced by Al Gardner, the former boss of Chrysler's southeast business center, as the head of Chrysler brand, according to Automotive News.
