This is a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer, with a 6 cylinder engine, automatic transmission, and four-wheel drive. It has a valid Pennsylvania state inspection that expires in November 2014. It has a tick in the engine or transmission since we purchased it. I cannot tell if it is coming from the engine or transmission. However, it runs well and has been used daily, as well as trips to Philadelphia. The engine does not smoke or miss, and runs very good in town or down the highway. Four wheel drive works well. A/C could use a charge, as it fades during the hotter weather. Interior is very nice. Body is nice, but did have to rust spots on the tailgate. Fiberglass filler was put in, but needs to be finished. We have too many vehicles and more use for the truck than the Trailblazer. Item is sold AS IS, meaning that it will be as represented when you pick it up, but once you leave there are no returns, refunds, or the like, just like when I purchased it. Item must be paid for, in full, within 7 days after auction ends, even if you have not yet picked it up. Local pick up only. If you want it shipped, you are responsible for all shipping arrangements. Item is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. I accept paypal and cash. If you pay by check, the vehicle stays with me until my bank confirms that the check has cleared, which has taken up to two weeks at times. I am not interested in trades.

2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra show all their sides in Detroit

There could hardly be more riding on the next-generation General Motors full-size pickup trucks, so the automaker has wisely made sure to have a selection of different models on hand at the Detroit Auto Show to show off. The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 GMC Sierra were both officially introduced last month at a stand-alone reveal, and now they'll be on display for the public to see in various body configurations and trim levels.
The Silverado LTZ Crew Cab and Sierra SLE Extended Cab are aimed at providing more of a high-end pickup experience, while the Silverado LT Z71 Extended Cab and Sierra SLT Z71 Crew Cab should have off-road fans scouting out their favorite trails. The crew cab trucks won't go into production until sometime during the second quarter of this year - with other bodystyles coming later in the year - but we have plenty of live images from Detroit for you to enjoy.

First 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray spotted crashed in the wild

This restyled blue 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is wearing manufacturer plates, and it appears to be the same one seen around the internet in various pictures lately. This crash is likely not part of the Chevrolet testing regimen, however. Digital Corvettes forum member gpetry posted the shot with a note: "got this picture e-mailed from a friend in Arizona last week..." No circumstances are given, other than the incident occurred in the thick of a set of curvy roads, and the coupe ping-ponged off a guardrail and into the rock wall. Hopefully everyone involved in the incident walked away.
It may not be a pretty thing to see, a crashed sports car that's not even available for sale yet, but rest easy. Many pre-production cars are used for development and then unceremoniously crushed and scrapped, anyway. If that's the case here, that makes this wrecked 'Vette less of a tragedy and more of a case of exceptional efficiency.

GM looks to combat high theft rates on SUVs with added tech

The Cadillac Escalade has been at or near the top of most-stolen and insurance-loss lists for more than seven years, until it dropped to number six earlier this year. In 2011 it was fitted with a host of new security features to address its easy-to-override features and that has brought the number of thefts down, but when eight of the ten most stolen rides are large SUVs from General Motors, no one will argue that something else needs to be done.
Thus, GM has fitted this same theft-deterring tech to the 2015 Suburban, Tahoe and Yukon. The Suburban and Tahoe will get the steering lock that the Escalade and Yukon already get, plus bolted-down third-row seats to deter thefts like this, stronger door lock cylinders and shields, and side-cut keys to inhibit picking.
Additional security measures in a Theft Protection Package can be purchased for $395, consisting of sensors on the greenhouse glass and interior, an incline/tilt sensor and added "key control systems" to make it more difficult for the men in black balaclavas to steal what you bought.
