This is a monster suburban I love it but my wife and I are looking for a bigger house so it's gotta go. It drives great and tons of fun. gets alot of attention. I have a ton of reciepts that came with this truck probably over 10,000 just in reciepts. GOODIES 10 inch superlift with 20 inch polished centerline wheels with 38x15.50 mickey thompson baja atz tires with alot of tread left, Evan Walker racing canister shocks. new fuel tank and fuel pump. DRIVETRAIN 5.7 liter (350ci) has a reciept from jasper engines. has duel remote oil filters, march polished serpitine pulleys, edlebrock carb and intake, and hedman long tube header with flowmaster duel exhaust. 700-R4 transmission. 14 bolt corporate 1 ton rear axle and dana 60 front axle pretty sure has locker in rear but not sure (3300 reciept just for axles) all of the steering has been upgraded also. has very nice evan walker racing canister shocks. steel braided brake lines. BODY the body is very nice for 91 model the paint is faded and scratched and there is a small rust hole near the driver rear wheel well. i like the way it looks right now it has character. lol the frame looks great. the pass front fender well is little rusty because the battery tray is right above it INTERIOR The seats are really nice on rips or tears the door panels are in good shape also the power windows work just little slow the heat and all gauges work fine I never tried the ac but everything is there might need charged at most. also has rear ac. the dash pad is cracked but i have a new one to replace it and the headliner is sagging but over all really nice shape. THE BAD like i said the body is not perfect has couple small places you can see in the picture. the transmission has small leak around the dipstick tube. just noticed today when i started it the one of the heater hoses have a small leak. could probably use plugs and wires. there is probably something i have forgotten please message if you have any questions. it is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. this is a nice truck its not perfect but could be easy . thanks for checking it out. |

2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L vs Big Three-Row Crossovers | Spec comparison
Fri, Jan 8 2021The three-row 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L is here, entering an ever-growing segment of big crossovers that Jeep has ignored since the Commander of the late 2000s. Of course, the Dodge Durango has basically been a three-row version of the current Grand Cherokee with Dodge styling and a different interior, so it's not like The Corporate Entity Formerly Known as Chrysler has been without a contender in the segment. Jeep is a stronger brand than Dodge, however, and the three-row midsize segment is stronger than those with two rows (there's a vast sales difference between the Chevrolet Traverse and Blazer, as well as the Honda Pilot and Passport). In other words, the Grand Cherokee L could be a very big deal. It is also, quite literally, a very big deal. As you're about to see, it is now the largest three-row crossover, besting the length, wheelbase and height of even the gargantuan Traverse. There's more to the story than that, however, so we put together the below comparison chart to show you how the new Grand Cherokee L lines up on paper versus the biggest three-row crossovers. That includes the 2021 Ford Explorer, 2021 Kia Telluride, 2021 Hyundai Palisade and 2022 Chevrolet Traverse. This group also represents some of the strongest entries in the segment as well as those we feel are most likely to be considered alongside the big Jeep. To that end, we also included the 2021 Lincoln Aviator in the chart since its base price is actually less than what we anticipate the luxurious, range-topping Grand Cherokee L Overland and Summit trim levels to start. Engines and drivetrains Note the differences in curb weight here. The Grand Cherokee L has the highest base curb weight of the group apart from the high-lux Aviator, yet its 3.6-liter V6 has the least amount of power and torque. Therefore, it'll be surprising if it's not the slowest in the group. There's of course the Hemi V8 available on the top Overland and Summit trim levels, but again, a hefty curb weight works against it. At 5,330 pounds, the lightest V8-powered JGCL weighs 600 pounds more than V6-power Explorer Platinum and ST models. On the other hand, nothing can touch the Hemi Jeep's towing capacity, and only the 400-hp Aviator betters the Jeep's base V6. Its 6,200-pound towing capacity greatly outdoes the 5,000-pound limits of not only the Telluride, Palisade and Traverse, but most others in the segment as well.
GM Canada recalls 159,240 GMC and Chevy trucks for faulty defroster circuit
Fri, Jul 12 2019General Motors is recalling more than 159,000 2014-2019 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickup trucks in Canada due to a potential fire risk. GM says the rear defroster circuit could overheat on trucks optioned with the power-sliding rear window. Thus far, there is no word on the recall's relation to U.S. vehicles. The recall, found by Automotive News, was posted to Transport Canada on June 28, 2019 with manufacturer recall No. N192220470. Included in the 159,240 vehicles are the 2014-2018 Silverado 1500, the 2015-2019 Silverado HD, the 2014-2018 Silverado LD, the 2014-2018 Sierra 1500, the 2015-2019 Sierra HD, and the 2014-2018 Sierra LD. The notice says the rear defroster circuit, specifically on trucks with the power-sliding rear window, could overheat. Because of its placement, this excess heat could cause melting, smoking, or possibly fire, in the worst case scenario. As of now, there is no official word when GM will initiate the recall and there is no official fix detailed just yet. GM suggests that owners, who will be notified by mail if their vehicles are affected, take their trucks to a dealer to remove the rear window defroster fuse as a stop-gap. Automotive News contacted GM to find out if the problem is also found in trucks sold in the United States, but no definitive statement was made, as the investigation is reportedly ongoing. We will update this space if American vehicles are found to be included in the problem.
Petrolicious profiles one man and his duo of '64 Impalas
Wed, Jul 1 2015Restoring any vintage car is a labor of love. In the end, the investment of time and money is often more than the vehicle is realistically worth on the open market. Deciding to take all of that work on yourself doesn't make things any easier, but it can only increase your connection to the project. Don Rogers, the subject of the latest video from Petrolicious, shows this passion perfectly with his duo of 1964 Chevrolet Impalas – a hardtop and convertible. Both of these Chevys had been sitting for years before Rogers got his talented hands on them, and he did all of the work himself. Now, driving the pair is therapy for him, and he's not worried about anything breaking because he knows he can put it back together. Rogers says he enjoys wrenching on his vehicles even more than going to shows. Doing your own work comes with advantages, like tailoring a project's look to your preferences. It's not original, but Rogers used the crimson interior color from a '59 Impala on his convertible to make the interior pop with the top down. Rogers is undoubtedly a talented builder, and his work is worth checking out in the latest from Petrolicious. Related Video:
