For your consideration is a 1955 (registered as a 1959) Chevy Panel truck. This is actually a 1959 body with a 1955 front end. This truck has alot of cool features. It has independent front suspension with power steering, disc brakes, new tilt steering column, vintage AC, new motor that has just had the cam broke in, new edelbrock carb, new distributor, new serpintine pulley set with new water pump, alternator, power steering pump, new AC compressor, new front shocks, new painless wiring, keyless rear entry, custom roll pan and rear door, 4 wheel disc brakes, fresh paint, custom built gas tank, flowmaster exhaust system, new instrument cluster, new rear end bearing and seals, there is probably more things i'm missing, but to sum it all up , one cool old truck. It will need a new fuel gauge and a new speedo cable. The turbo 350 transmission has maybe 5000 miles on it. This truck was driven from Seattle Wa, to Lafayette La and then stored for sometime before I had it painted. The paint isn't the best , but not the worst. I would say 7/10 but who am I. The shop that did it also did the build. Of course they went out of business and stole some parts and so much for warranty work right. Anyways I feel she is ready to be driven. I have it insured for $38,000. The AC blows cold. I have driven it in the neighborhood and she seems good. I have a file of tech data and a box with some odds and ends. I recently bought a car on ebay, paid top dollar for it, and was very upset when it arrived. I would say come out and check her out because I want everybody to be happy. I can store it in a garage until shipping can be arranged. All lights, emergency flashers, and horn work. Again this truck hasn't been driven daily for a few years and like most old cars some tinkering should be expected. The truck has been Dyno matted and the floor from front to back has been rhino lined. It has a new grey carpet kit installed. There is an old 60's era power bench seat installed. Not my favorite but hey. New wiper motor and all parts. I cannot believe I'm selling my baby. I have some kids now and feel I need a classic car with rear seats so they can enjoy it also. The truck is for sale locally so the sell can end at anytime. This vehicle is sold AS IS WITH NO WARRANTY. Feel free to contact me with any questions. 206 940 9731. Thanks. This truck has a low reserve (I think) .The flame job and pinstriping looks awesome.

Pure Vision Design TT Camaro has 1,400 reasons to want it
Wed, 06 Nov 2013We've talked about Pure Vision Design before, a California-based company that made waves at last year's SEMA show with its Martini-liveried, Indy-car-powered Ford Mustang. That same car later starred in a Petrolicious video we showed you just a few weeks back. The company's latest creation is a menacing car it calls the Pure Vision Design TT Camaro. Based on a 1972 model, this car shares the Martini Mustang's clean styling and obsession with details.
Unlike the Mustang, which draws its power from a mid-60s Lotus-Ford Indycar engine, the "TT" in this Camaro's name implies something far more potent. The Nelson Racing Engines 427-cubic-inch V8 has been fitted with a pair of turbochargers, with a claimed output of 1,400 horsepower. That's almost 1,000 more than the Martini Mustang.
A six-speed Magnum transmission dispatches that power to the ground, while Pirelli PZero tires are tasked with (somehow) trying to grip the road. Baer brakes hide behind those HRE rims, while JRI coilovers and HyperTech springs bless the Camaro with some degree of competency in the bends.
More Corvette Stingray Factoids: Vanishing panel gaps and 26-mpg LT1
Thu, 28 Feb 2013During January's Detroit Auto Show, we managed a longer than expected wandering tag-team interview with C7 Corvette chief engineering exec Tadge Juechter (pictured above), and LT1 engine boss Jordan Lee (pictured below). They are, quite honestly, two of the very nicest bigshot lads to ever walk the engineering corridors of an American manufacturer. Both are enthralled by what they're doing for a day job. So are we.
We've followed the pre-sale anticipation for the Chevrolet C7 Corvette Stingray like an Oreck vacuum yanking every speck of dirt from a well-trampled carpet. Everything is reportable and contains a grain of further knowledge about this dramatically important and cheered-for car, as it continues to be pressured into representing all that is superior about the American dream. The Corvette wears one heavy cloak.
So, most of what was talked about has been expertly reported already right here on Autoblog. But, looking through our notes again, both Jeuchter and Lee added facts to the buzzing mix.
How two-state Chevy Spark EV outsold 50-state Volt last month
Mon, May 4 2015Is it really just about price? Last month, the Chevy Spark EV got a sizable price drop of $1,500 alongside a lowered lease price of $139 a month (down from $199). Those numbers, particularly that cheap lease, had a tremendous impact on how many all-electric Sparks GM sold last month. There were 920 Spark EVs sold in April, and the Spark EV is available in only two states: California and Oregon. Sales will start in Maryland in the third quarter of 2015, but there are no pre-orders taking place there, so all 920 were West Coast sales. To be more precise, there were about 864 Spark EV leases signed last month, since 94 percent of those 920 sales were retail leases. As Annalisa Bluhm from Chevrolet communications told AutoblogGreen, that level was, "simply insane." "In those states which offer Spark EV, you can get a 1LT Spark EV for less than a 1LT Spark, with more features" Bluhm said. "Factor in that you will save approximately $82 per month by abstaining from gas, and it's easy to see why people went crazy for the Spark." Let's put 920 into perspective. For one thing, it's crazy up from the 151 Spark EVs sold in March 2015 and the 97 sold in April 2014. It's also almost as many as GM sold all last year, and way more than two years ago. The General sold 653 Spark EVs in 2013 and 1,146 in 2014. To throw in a comparison with GM's longstanding plug-in champion, the aging Volt, the Spark EV came out ahead in the monthly tally for the first time ever. In April, the Volt sold 905 units. The plug-in hybrid's best-ever sales month was August 2013, when it sold 3,351 units. Counting all models and powertrains, Chevy sold 3,743 Sparks in April. So, does this success mean that Chevy is looking to bring the Spark EV to more markets? Bluhm said that GM is considering other states and is always looking at the business case, but has "nothing to announce yet."
