Re-listed due to previous non-responsive bidders. Actually, this is the third time to list this truck body. The first buyer never responded. The second buyer reneged within 5 minutes of the close of the auction. Serious buyers only!
47 Five Window Chevrolet Pickup Body. No engine or drive train except for original rear-end. No steering gear box, no hubs or usable wheels. Both back springs are bent. Obviously this was a display truck for Old Navy stores. The body is in okay shape for a 65 year old vehicle. It is currently a lawn ornament in my yard and that may be it's best and highest use.
No title - BILL OF SALE ONLY. The body and grill is Chevrolet, but the data tag serial number is FC102 15436 which is a 1947 GMC number. I have a similar truck and was able to obtain a clear title in Florida for $300 if someone wants a serious rebuild or retro project.
The only two parts that add real value to this body are the five window cab and the back fenders which are fiberglass. The fenders are in very good shape. The top rail of the grill has been polished to show possibilities.

2014 Chevrolet Malibu gets more torque, more room and inspiration from the Impala
Fri, 31 May 2013The 2014 Chevrolet Malibu, having stared at the Impala across the showroom floor for a year, gets nips and tucks all over inspired by its larger brother. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder in the base car will get a stop-start system and 23 city miles per gallon, 35 highway, each number representing a one-mpg improvement over the 2013 car. Output is 196 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque.
Opt for the 2.0-liter turbo and, while power holds steady at 259 hp, torque goes up by 14 percent to a striking 295 lb-ft (a figure Chevy calls best in the class). The final details include newly programmed transmission shift points and faster shifts, for better engaging and enjoying the added power.
Looks-wise, the grille's been reshaped to be more in line with the new Chevrolet look, a narrower upper grille hovering over a larger lower grille.

Supercharged, 6.2-liter V8? Check. Seven-speed manual? Check. Obsession with weight? Check.
What did you expect when Chevrolet said it was bringing a new Corvette variant to the 2014 New York Auto Show? Maybe a sticker and trim package, like the C6 Corvette Grand Sport or a tie-in deal like the Black Widow car from Chicago? On the opposite end, maybe there was an even more hardcore Z06 waiting in the wings. Who knew?
