1967 Chevy Ii Nova Ls1 Auto Tci Clip on 2040-cars
Glidden, Iowa, United States
|
Nice start to a great cruiser. It is a 67 with 66 front end. It has new tci front clip with drilled and slotted rotors non coil over. Has a 2000 z28 ls1 automatic drivetrain with 91k miles on it. Runs drives great. Has vintage air hooked up inside but will need finished with hoses, compressor, condensor etc up front. Autometer gauges. No radio. Interior is an older style with a velour like fabric, it is nice but is sort of dated. Headliner is in excellent shape. Trunk is solid and just shows the surface rust from a wet blanket or something, nothing a can of trunk paint won't fix. Floor pans have been patched and could use more work depending how far you want to go with it. The rear quarters have been patched and will need lower quarters to clean it up nicely. Rockers seem to be solid. Fenders are useable but the right could be relieved to find a nicer one. This is a project that still needs work. The ac and gauges are all complete but will need finished to get it all working properly.

2016 Lamborghini Huracan at the Horse Thief Mile | AutoblogVR
Tue, Sep 13 2016AutoblogVR returns to the Horse Thief Mile in the Mojave Desert to put the Lamborghini Huracan to the test. It's everything we want a modern supercar to be: Powerful, striking in appearance, and a riot to drive. But does it live up to Lamborghini's unique performance heritage? Senior Editor Greg Migliore reviews the Huracan on Horse Thief's unyielding curves and elevation changes to find out. Meanwhile, Autoblog Editor-in-Chief Mike Austin reviews a different kind of performance car – the Chevy SS at the IndyCar circuit on Detroit's Belle Isle. He's ably assisted by ace driver Simon Pagenaud. You must watch his hot lap! The SS is old-school V8 American muscle wrapped in Australian design and engineering. This AutoblogVR segment also launches on the app Sept. 13, and the teaser follows the Huracan preview above. Each week, new episodes will launch on the AutoblogVR App. We'll preview them here on Autoblog, but for the full immersive experience, head over to the app, which you can download for free from the App store and Google Play. Be sure to try it with a cardboard viewer, too!
That time we lapped Indy with Tony Kanaan in a Corvette Z06
Sat, May 23 2015We're here in Indianapolis, IN, attending this weekend's 99th running of the Indy 500. The big event happens tomorrow, but the city is buzzing today with all sorts of pre-race festivities. For us, that means checking out Indianapolis Motor Speedway a day early, and getting a hot lap around the racetrack in the official Indy 500 pace car – a 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Our driver for the occasion is IndyCar racer Tony Kanaan, who won the Indianapolis 500 in 2013. Of course, he'll be competing tomorrow, leaving pace duties to none other than Jeff Gordon. Check out our minute-and-a-half-long lap of the Indy 500 track in the video above, where Kanaan hugs the wall in true race style, getting the Z06 past 150 miles per hour on the back straight. Stay tuned for more Indy 500 coverage later this weekend.
2013 Chevy COPO Camaro announced with two new engines and manual option
Thu, 07 Mar 2013Chevrolet is following up the 2012 COPO Camaro with another limited run of the drag-strip-ready production car for 2013. Ditching the superchargers, the 2013 COPO Camaro can only be equipped with one of three naturally aspirated V8 engines, and other new features include the option of a manual transmission, new front springs, some minor styling changes and a lower starting price of $86,000. All cars are designed to abide by the rules of the NHRA's Stock Eliminator or Super Stock classifications, depending on in which series buyers wish to enter their Chevrolet Camaro.
Returning for 2013 is the 427-cubic-inch V8 producing 425 horsepower, but the new engines include a 325-hp 350-CID V8 and a 375-hp 396-CID V8. Buyers can select to purchase all three engines, and each will be matched with the sequence number of that car; the track-only COPO cars will not have vehicle identification numbers and can't be registered for street use.
Chevrolet is also offering unique enthusiast-specific options such as a COPO Build Book and the opportunity for owners to help assemble their car's engine at the Chevrolet Performance Build Center in Wixom, MI.
