Entry level family cruise nite car !Car was restored in 2001 by the second owner .At this time the interior was freshened up and paint was done in original light fawn color.Originally a 283 engine was replaced with a rebuilt 327 with a mild cam and edelbrock aluminum intake at that time.Paint still shines well but is not showroom.The following is a list of what I have done since purchasing in August 2013.

Motor and trans.mounts Trunk and door weatherstrip All new armrests and bases New parking,taillight,back up light,lenses and gaskets Bench seat console. Over $2500 in all .Car is solid top and bottom .Runs and drives very well.doors open and close as they should with consistent panel gaps all around.Heater blower not operating ( probably fuse or bad ground).All other items work as intended.Car has always been taken care of and it shows.never been outside a thirty mile radius of selling dealer Beasley Cross Chevrolet in Kanappolis NC.Have MSO sheet from Chevrolet mfg. to Beasley Cross Chevrolet.Also have copy of titles from first 2 owners .(then sold to Morrison motors in Concord NC.then sold to me. Mother's Day Suggestion No. 2,506
Thu, 02 May 2013With Mother's Day coming up, we're always looking for new gift ideas to celebrate the occasion, but hot laps around a track might not be the best suggestion for Darius Khashabi. In a video posted on YouTube, Khashabi straps his mom into the passenger seat of his C6 Corvette Z06 for some laps around Sonoma Raceway (formerly Infineon Raceway) at "60 percent" with comical results.
Now this isn't the first time Mama Khashabi has gotten seat time in her son's car around a track, as his YouTube page shows him pulling a similar stunt - with similar results - around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca last year. Chevy Corvette Stingray picks up another award, this time from Automobile
Mon, 18 Nov 2013The new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has picked up another buff book accolade after capturing Road and Track's Performance Car of the Year award. The seventh-generation of America's sports car (sorry Viper, Mustang, et al.) has been named Automobile Magazine's Automobile of the Year.
Automobile's award to the Corvette over competitors is the mirror image of its rival Motor Trend, which named the Cadillac CTS its car of the year over the C7. The CTS was, according to the Automobile team, the closest contender to the mighty Stingray. Great news all around for General Motors it seems.
As for what pushed the Corvette past its distant, four-door cousin, Automobile commended its excellent, 6.2-liter V8 calling the car's performance "simply awesome" while also remarking that it is easier to drive fast than ever before thanks to steering and chassis tweaks. Following a theme set by other publications, there were also plaudits for the interior, of all things, with the buff book complimenting the car's ergonomics and material quality, while also praising the standard seats.

Mon, 17 Dec 2012They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
