Really nice1985 Monte Carlo SS bench seat column shift. Has original 305 HO engine. The motor has had some work done to it, but I don't know the specifics. All work was done before I owned the car. Transmission has a shift kit in it an a high stall converter. Rear end is 373 non posi. The car sounds great with that lopey idle that sounds so good through the flowmaster exhaust. This car has had a recent repaint. but could use a cut and buff to be even better. The stripes are new. I drive this car all the time when the weather is nice, it has never let me down. It has never seen winter roads since I have owned it. The history report shows an accident. The car was hit on the left front fender and drivers door. it has a new nose, donor fender, hood, and drivers door. There is no frame damage, it goes down the road straight and true. There is no rust that I can see anywhere. Frame is nice and clean. Has 4 brand new tires.
I have replaced the headliner, installed new front shocks, new trunk mat, and new hood insulation. This is an AC car but is non functioning as the compressor and lines have been removed. It could be re connected if you wanted to but I do not have the parts to do that
I am asking $5800 but will consider offers close to that amount. I do not need to sell it. Car is located 5 minutes north of the NYS Thruway off exit 32 (Westmoreland NY). Car is for sale locally so the auction may end at any time.

How easy is it to rebuild a Chevy small block V8?
Sat, Mar 21 2015Chevrolet's famous small block V8 stands as one of the workhorse engines in American auto history, with its variants going into vehicles from hot rods to pickup trucks. But do you know that you can fully disassemble and completely restore one of these mills in just under four minutes? Well, as long as there's some assistance from time-lapse photography, that is. Hagerty created this short clip showing a dirt-covered small block turning from a frog into a prince. Thankfully, the time-lapse doesn't speed the process up too much, and it's still easy to see how all of the principal parts fit together. With all sorts of sensors and software helping to drive the modern automobile, viewing the internal combustion engine in its purely mechanical form is still fascinating. Related Video:
Sunday Drive: Tracking Tokyo's top performers
Sun, Oct 29 2017The big news of the week mostly came from Tokyo. All of Japan's biggest automakers made waves at the Motor Show, but the winner of the event has to be Mazda. The big Vision Coupe and little Kai Concept stole the show, won our hearts, and earned a ton of attention for the automaker. We can't wait to see how these two concepts impact the design, engineering, and technology of future production models. Take a look at our mega image gallery post below to see everything in high-resolution glory. Interestingly, the single biggest click-magnet of the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show was the BMW X2. We shouldn't be surprised. Crossovers of all shapes and sizes dominate the American marketplace, and the X2 is clearly the most attractive of BMW's even-numbered, coupe-influenced X models. Plus, it's headed for production, with sales starting in the spring of 2018. Moving past the Tokyo Motor Show, Autoblog readers are apparently very interested in the 2019 Chevy Camaro. Spy shots of just about every iteration of Chevy's muscle car lit up the 'net last week, leaving us very interested in seeing what's hiding behind all that camouflage. As always, tune in to Autoblog next week for a front-row seat to all the happenings worth following in the automotive industry. 2017 Tokyo Motor Show | Mega Gallery Mazda Vision Coupe | Tokyo Motor Show's big, sensuous 4-door Mazda Kai concept hints at a more muscular, refined Mazda3 2018 BMW X2 crossover revealed, adorned in gold and silver 2019 Chevrolet Camaro: 1LT, SS, ZL1 all spied with updated styling
