I have for sale a 1971 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. It runs and drives like new, and would make a great daily driver. The original brown vinyl top is in great shape. It has original paint, and is 99% rust free. It has a 5.7L 350 engine, and the transmission is a Turbo Hydramatic TH350. It also has factory air conditioning, power steering, and power brakes. The factory AM radio also has an 8 track tape player that works also. I still have the original owners manual, and protector plate. This car only has 109,500 miles on it. I have clear title to the car in hand. The interior and paint have normal wear and tear on them for a forty-two year old car, and everything is pictured. Chevrolet Malibu gets across-the-board price cuts, hopes to dig out of slump
Mon, 11 Feb 2013To say that things aren't going well for the newly redesigned 2013 Chevrolet Malibu is a pretty sizable understatement. Reports have been swirling about the Malibu getting an emergency design refresh, less than a year after its introduction, as well as having its production at the Fairfax Assembly Plant halted twice already this year for excessive inventory. Now, Motor Trend is reporting that the midsize sedan will be receiving price drops across the board ranging from $300 on a number of models up to $770 on the 1LT trim; offsetting some of MSRP drop, though, the destination charge has increased from $760 to $810.
Without destination, the entry-level Malibu LS now starts at $21,995, which is still about $300 more than a Honda Accord and about $300 less than the segment's top-selling Toyota Camry. This new pricing also drops the price of the Eco, 2LT and 3LT trims by $300. The LTZ trim has dropped by $415, meaning that the Malibu's top dog now starts at just under $30,000, excluding destination.

The 2014 Chevrolet SS sedan is for drivers who value performance above all else
Sat, 16 Feb 2013The car you see above is the 2014 Chevrolet SS, and it's important both because it is the first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan from Chevy in 17 years, and because it will be the nameplate the brand uses on NASCAR tracks all across the country starting this year.
Though it wears a name as American as baseball and apple pie, the machine was actually designed and built in Australia, sharing most of its parts with the brand-new VF-model Holden Commodore. That said, the basic chassis bits are shared with other Chevrolet models like the Camaro and Caprice Police Patrol Vehicle.
While Chevrolet is happy to sell a Malibu or Impala to anyone looking for a mainstream family sedan, but the SS is reserved for buyers interested first and foremost in performance. Most sedans sold these days are front-wheel drive, which is great for everyday driving and when the weather goes bad, but the SS is instead a rear-wheel-drive vehicle aimed at enthusiasts who love to drive and who prefer speed and performance above all else.
