This was a 2006 rental car that I bought in November of 2007 with 33827 miles on it. It has been a very comfortable ride and a pleasure to drive.

The arm rest between the front seats does not stay up to accommodate a 3rd passenger in the front seat. I never needed that.

There are some scratches on the front rt corner from when I tried to park too close to a stone wall, a ding on each side view mirror from

trying to park too close to the struts on my carport.

I enjoyed a 6000 mile tour from May to July this year with no problems until the last afternoon, July 7. Then the tread came off of the rt rear tire and

broke the wheel well housing, dented and marred the right side of the car and tore the end of the trim strip that goes around the back of the

skirting as it flew off on the highway. Fortunately it did not hit any other cars on the way. That tire had dry-rot, it was only 2 yrs old. I replaced 2 tires

that day and the other 2 tires after I had the body work done. All of the maintenance records are in the glove compartment. I have used Ethos oil

and gas additive since I have had the car so the motor is in like new condition. I have changed the oil and other fluids when needed, also the oil pan

gaske and whatever my certified mechanic said was necessary.

The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.

Pushing Back: GM expanding Chevrolet into Korea, Daewoo out

General Motors decided several years ago to begin heavily promoting Chevrolet as its global mainstream brand even in markets where its existing brands like Opel and Daewoo were a dominant force. Today, at the Busan Motor Show in South Korea, GM Daewoo president Mike Arcamone announced that the Camaro would lead the way in GM's efforts to market Chevrolet in South Korea.
For now at least Chevrolet and Daewoo-branded vehicles will coexist in the Korean market. However, while we were in China last week GM officials told us that the Daewoo brand, which has been somewhat tainted by past quality issues, would eventually be phased out in favor of Chevrolet. When the new Aveo launches next year it will likely be badged as a Chevrolet even though GM Daewoo is in charge of engineering the car.
