1964 Impala 2 Door Hardtop!!
You dont see one if these everyday. I bought this car in a package of several. It would make an awesome restoration project. One of the most solid ones I have seen on the east coast. This car has a small black v8 engine and automatic transmission. I believe the engine to be a 400 small block. This car was last on the road in 1990. I have not tried to get it running. The body on the car is pretty solid overall. It had a paint job done some time ago. It has faded alot though. The chrome is off the car. I have alot of the moldings with the car. There are some missing. (see pics). I have the rear bumper but the front one is missing. All of the glass is intact. The front floor on the drivers side has some rust through see pics. The passenger front floor has been patched and doesnt look bad its solid. The trunk has some rust but not terrible (see pics) Also rockers have some spots. The car was in a barn for about 15 years. The seats are there and need recovering and bolted down. The headliner need replaced. I have the radio for the car. The brake booster and master cylinder are missing. The tail lights and lenses come with the car. Overall not a bad car at all. What you see in the pics is all I have for the car. Its 95% complete. The rear bumper is there but not in the pics. Also the fan shroud is brand new. Its a awesome piece of Impala history.

The car is being sold with Bill of Sale Only!!! I do not have a title. It was misplaced long ago. Broadway title is a good option for getting a title for a couple hundred bucks. I have a 1964 title that seller gave me but does not match the VIN tag for the car, he is very old and has misplaced it over the years. But I will give the title I do have to the buyer if they can use it for any reason. I will give a written BILL OF SALE to the buyer signed by me but I dont have the title. I am selling this car for parts or restoration. Some states dont require a title for vehicles this old.
Please contact me with any questions before you bid (252) 565-2212 Ask for Billy.
ALL CHECKS MUST CLEAR YOUR BANK AND MINE BEFORE CAR WILL BE RELEASED FOR SHIPPING OR PICKUP. I PREFER CASH OR PAYPAL.
Buyer is responsible for all shipping. I can hold car once paid for in full for up to 30 days for shipping to be arranged. Car Rolls and steers but has no brakes. Sold as is where is not running. Must be picked up in Grimesland NC.
Thanks and Happy Bidding

Watch this creative way to pull a truck's engine
Fri, 08 Mar 2013Living in an apartment complex has its benefits, but for shade-tree mechanics who like/need to work on their own cars, it definitely has a number of disadvantages. Relatively simple tasks such as brake jobs and oil changes are difficult when you don't have dedicated driveway space, to say nothing of more in-depth repairs... like pulling an engine, for example.
For these types of challenges, a little ingenuity and plenty of muscle are needed to get the job done. Scroll down to watch these four men snatch the V8 out of a Chevrolet K1500 using nothing but a chain, landscape timber and good ol' fashioned brute strength. Good work, gentlemen.
