2007 Chevrolet Hhr Lt Wagon 4-door 2.2l - Clean! Must Sell! on 2040-cars
Beaumont, California, United States
The vehicle you are viewing is what I've used to commute approximately 55 miles one way to school. It is garage kept and has been primarily parked inside a parking structure when at school. I've used Chevron gasoline 98% of the time, with Shell/Mobile accounting for the remainder. All scheduled maintenance is up to date with no known issues. New heavy duty rotors along with ceramic blended brake shoes have been installed on the front and have about 8,000 miles on them. Depending on driving preferences, average fuel efficiency varies between 26-34 MPG. Typical mileage fro Beaumont to Pomona and back is about 32 MPG. After a long drive, the engine smells good and there are no leaks. The transmission was serviced at around 68,000 miles and the tires have about 6 months worth of remaining tread. The car does need the windshield replaced thanks to a hostile golf ball. The only reason I'm selling this car is because I got a deal on a newer version from a family member. If that opportunity didn't exist, I would have no problem driving this until it reaps the drudgery of old age. The suspension feels like a care with 98,000 miles on it, but it runs and operates great! If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. This vehicle is listed through several means and I do reserve the right to sell locally. Reasonable offers will be considered, so please don't hesitate to contact me! **A/C ICE COLD, ALWAYS GARAGED, EXCELLENT CONDITION, MOSTLY HIGHWAY MILES, MUST SEE, NO ACCIDENTS, NON-SMOKER, PERFECT FIRST CAR, SATELLITE RADIO, TITLE IN HAND, FACTORY UPGRADED SOUND SYSTEM, VERY CLEAN INTERIOR, AND WELL MAINTAINED**

2014 Chevrolet Impala [w/video]
Fri, 15 Mar 2013Can A Fleet Queen Become a Fullsize King?
On paper, the Chevrolet Impala is a pretty strong seller, posting annual sales that have hovered right around 170,000 units for the last two years, but it only takes one trip to practically any rental car agency to discover where the majority of those sales have come from. In fact, General Motors told Autoblog that a full 70 percent of Impala sales last year went to fleet companies for things like rental cars and government vehicles. Logic tells us that this is neither good for resale values nor name equity, so Chevrolet is getting ready to roll out an all-new Impala with improved comfort, styling and technology, hoping to turn the tables on its retail-to-fleet ratio.
Chevrolet's sedans have come on quite strong in the last few months with the introduction of the Cruze diesel and the SS sedan, but while these will likely be low-volume sellers, there's more pressure for the new Impala to perform well as GM looks to slash fleet sales and compete with the wide variety of full-size sub-luxury sedans. Riding on a platform shared with the Buick LaCrosse and Cadillac XTS, the 2014 Impala will compete against the Hyundai Azera, Ford Taurus and Toyota Avalon on the more traditional side, while also looking to take a bite out of somewhat sportier models like the Chrysler 300/Dodge Charger twins and the Nissan Maxima. We headed to sunny San Diego to see if this totally new Impala can stand on its own without the assistance of fleet companies and rental agencies. [w/video
GM 6.2L V8 claims most powerful light-duty truck engine title
Thu, 12 Sep 2013General Motors has officially captured the horsepower crown for mainstream pickup trucks with its 6.2-liter V8. The big mill, available in both the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, comes to market with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, handily outdoing its two cross-town competitors, Ram (5.7-liter V8, 395 ponies and 407 lb-ft) and Ford (6.2-liter V8, 411 hp and 434 lb-ft).
The new GM 6.2 will take a bit of an investment, though. Those that want the extra thrust will need to go with either the LTZ or High Country trims from the Chevy, or the SLT and Denali trims from GMC, which are the two highest trim levels for the respective vehicles. Trim levels aside, if you're in the business of towing, GM has you covered. Optioned with the 6.2-liter V8 and the Max Trailering Package, owners will be able to pull 12,000 pounds, a hugely impressive figure.
We still aren't certain as to what sort of economy the new engine will get, but it'll probably be a bad bet for the fuel conscious. As for availability, expect to see the 6.2-liter trucks in showrooms later in the fall.
First 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray spotted crashed in the wild
Tue, 12 Feb 2013This restyled blue 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is wearing manufacturer plates, and it appears to be the same one seen around the internet in various pictures lately. This crash is likely not part of the Chevrolet testing regimen, however. Digital Corvettes forum member gpetry posted the shot with a note: "got this picture e-mailed from a friend in Arizona last week..." No circumstances are given, other than the incident occurred in the thick of a set of curvy roads, and the coupe ping-ponged off a guardrail and into the rock wall. Hopefully everyone involved in the incident walked away.
It may not be a pretty thing to see, a crashed sports car that's not even available for sale yet, but rest easy. Many pre-production cars are used for development and then unceremoniously crushed and scrapped, anyway. If that's the case here, that makes this wrecked 'Vette less of a tragedy and more of a case of exceptional efficiency.
