Vehicle will need the brake line fixed, needs a new steering wheel, tuned up. Needs new tires. A lot of new GM parts when the car was repainted 15 years ago. Except for the engine, everything is original or GM parts. Vehicle has a newer headliner and newer carpet. Front coil springs need replaced, two new ones still in the box come with the car along with various chrome trim pieces. This is an A/C car but it needs the condenser put back on. Condenser comes with the car. I'm listing this car for my brother, all I know about it is what he has told me and what I can visibly see. If you have questions, they should be directed to him although I will get any answers someone should ask through eBay. His name is Bob, his number is 740-922-1098. Buyer will be responsible for shipping if required. We can help load the vehicle. I believe he may be the second owner of the vehicle. Title states there was 48k on the car when he bought it in 1997. Odometer shows 57518, I can't promise you that it doesn't exceed that. Title states that the mileage on it when he bought it exceeded. Take that for what it's worth. A $500 payment will be required by winning bidder at close of auction with the balance due prior to the vehicle leaving the property.

Read This: Auto Extremist advocates for Corvette as brand with multiple models [w/poll]
Fri, 25 Jan 2013The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette really grinds Peter De Lorenzo's gears. Or, more accurately, the self-anointed Auto Extremist has an issue with what he sees as mismanagement of the legendary sports car by General Motors executives. In a new editorial on his website, De Lorenzo argues it's time to split Corvette off from Chevrolet to create an all-new brand, complete with a model range with at least three new takes on the sports car. Capable of fully leveraging the successes of the Corvette Racing program and brandishing the full might of GM's technical prowess, the Corvette brand would theoretically give Porsche something to sweat over.
Sure, that sounds like a party, but given GM's troubled track record when it comes to launching (let alone managing) brands, we say that's slippery slope that could just as easily end with the whole Corvette franchise in the scrap bin. GM recalling 250,000 SUVs over door electronics
Mon, 20 Aug 2012After a door-fire investigation that dates back to February, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has officially announced a recall today that affects around 250,000 General Motors SUVs for a faulty driver's door module. The recall applies to the Buick Rainier, Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Isuzu Ascender and Saab 9-7X from the 2006 and 2007 model years, as well as the 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT and GMC Envoy XL for vehicles sold and/or registered in the Snow Belt.
Road salt use in these midwestern and northern states can lead to corrosion of the driver's door module on these GMT360 and GMT370 vehicles, which allows water to come in contact with the circuit board. If shorted out, the vehicle's power door locks and power windows will not work, and could possibly lead to overheating and, in some circumstances, a fire. No official word on how many total vehicles caught on fire, but back in June, 28 fires had been reported to the government agency. A fix for the problem is still being worked out, but all affected vehicle owners will be notified by GM.

General Motors has released a new short video featuring Kirk Bennion of the Corvette's exterior design team, talking about the challenges of sculpting Chevrolet's new flagship sports car and the five goals the team had to keep in mind as it worked. In the end, Bennion's team had the pleasure of seeing their hard work take center stage as the Corvette captured the world's eyes at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.
