Holly "street dominator" manifold with Holly 4-barrel carburetor. Turbo 350 automatic transmission with Hurst Pro-Matic 2 shifter. Under 3,000 on engine and transmission. Has power steering, power brakes with disks on front, custom built 4-core radiator, newer bucket seats out of Firebird with drivers bucket power operated. New Remington 66/15 tires with chrome rally wheels. New Metallic blue paint 2010 and new spray-in-bedliner - only bad item is that it needs a new headliner -upholstery and carpets in good condition along with the door panels. If you live close enough, strongly suggest you come by for a test drive - you won't be disappointed at this price. Will assist with loading if you are not driving it home. However, pick-up and shipping costs are buyers expense. Please keep in mind this is a 45 year old car so there is no warranty expressed or implied. 2014 Chevrolet SS makes its live debut
Sat, 16 Feb 2013Chevrolet showed off the new 2014 SS in an airport hangar last night, its first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan in the US since the Impala SS from 1997. We'll have more to say about the SS later today, but this is the sedan that Chevrolet sees as the final piece in restoring its performance credentials. For those of you looking for a manual transmission, however, that wish will go unfulfilled - at least for now: the only two options buyers will have are the color and whether or not they want a sunroof.
We'll work on getting some more angles (in better light) today at Daytona International Speedway, but with fans seeing the car for the first time, we don't hold out much luck of getting a clear shot. So for now, enjoy the high-res gallery above.

What did you expect when Chevrolet said it was bringing a new Corvette variant to the 2014 New York Auto Show? Maybe a sticker and trim package, like the C6 Corvette Grand Sport or a tie-in deal like the Black Widow car from Chicago? On the opposite end, maybe there was an even more hardcore Z06 waiting in the wings. Who knew?
GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable
Fri, 21 Sep 2012General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.
