Up for your consideration is my 24 Hours of Lemans Commemorative Edition 2004 Corvette Z06. This particular car is build number 1266 of 2025. The '04 Commemorative Edition Z06 is arguably the most desirable C5 model and features a lightweight carbon fiber hood and is painted a gorgeous color, Lemans Blue. Only 2025 were built and 1700 were available stateside as the remaining number were destined for the european market. This model was also tested on the famed Nurburgring race track where it completed the course in under 8 minutes putting it in the upper class of super cars!
I searched long and hard to find a car of this pedigree. I purchased the car from the 69 year old original owner. It has been garaged kept it's entire life and has never been left outside over night. I have a complete and highly documented file on this car and I am willing to say it may be most documented Z06 currently available anywhere in the world! Documentation includes all service records since new, pre-delivery inspection from new, factory window sticker and build sheet, clean CarFax and much more. The car is washed every week and waxed every other weekend. I dry it with blown air and use silicone spray to treat the weather stripping. The wheels are washed inside and out. The car looks so nice that I am constantly asked if it is new or what year it is? You could eat off the engine and the underside....not that you would want to. The car has NEVER had any food or drinks in it and absolutely no smoke. The car has never been to redline and the rear tires have NEVER been spun...REALLY!
Look at the pictures, look at the documents, ask questions, come take a look at the car or send your mechanic to view it. I can assure you that you will NOT find a nicer '04 CE Z16. I am extremely picky and all of my cars are always better than described. I have received emails from past buyers that have told me that my cars are everything I have said they were and more. If you decide to buy this car you will not be disappointed as it is as nice as they come!
This car has some very nice aesthetic and reversible touches to enhance an already spectacular Z06. They include "rare" forged SSR GT-2H 18" wheels. 18" X 9.5" Front and 18" X 10.5" Rear with brand new Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's running 265/35-18 in front and 295/35-18 in the rear. All four wheels have custom 24 HR LeMans center caps color matched to the car along with custom lug nuts just for these wheels. It also features GM Durastop drilled brake rotors with semi-metallic high performance pads on all four corners. Other tasteful additions include clear DRL's and clear diamond cut rear side marker lights. The wheels and lighting match the stripes beautifully and really make the car pop! But wait....there's more! It also has had the steering column lock bypass and CAGS eliminator to rid of the dreaded locked column and 1-4 shift. For other performance enhancements I have installed a C6 Z06 shifter with custom one off "Jake" shift knob, trunk partition panel, and a "top of the line" CAI...a Callaway Honker. It also has a custom lighted exhaust enhancer plate and custom matched gas and dead pedals to compliment the factory pedals. The car has also been lowered 1" on the factory bolts along with a fresh 4 wheel alignment. The transmission and rear differential were recently service with fresh fluid and the oil has been changed every 3000 miles or less using only Mobil 1 and GM Duraguard "Gold" oil filters. All services of course, have been documented with product, date and mileage! There is also a shorty antennae for better looks and a factory set of european tailights....WOW!
Besides all of this the car came from the factory with every possible option available including the front license plate frame and BSM (Body Side Moulding) All of the enhancements could easily be reversed in a few hours and ALL of the "stock" parts, including the factory polished wheels and Goodyear tires come with the car! What are you waiting for? Don't miss this one!
As always, look at my feedback, ask me any questions, look at all the others....closely. Please only bid if you have the funds to complete the transaction. If you are looking for a 20K Z06 than move along as this is NOT that car. This auction is not a game. If you want to play games do so with someone else. Good Luck and God Bless America.

NHTSA approves hybrid rearview mirror display in Cadillac CT6, Bolt EV
Tue, Feb 23 2016The Chevy Bolt EV prototype doesn't just have a fancy new all-electric powertrain. Just outside the driver's line of sight is a newfangled rearview mirror, one that can turn into a screen that shows a moving image from the rear-facing camera. Speaking to NPR's Robert Siegel yesterday, Department of Transportation secretary Anthony Foxx said that NHTSA has now approved this type of mirror/screen for use in vehicles. According to a letter from NHTSA to General Motors, GM will likely use this Full Display Mirror first in the 2016 Cadillac CT6 before coming to the Bolt. In its letter to GM, NHTSA said that the Full Display Mirror will only qualify as a standard rearview mirror as long as there are normal side mirrors in place. In other words, don't expect to see cameras and screens replacing all the mirrors in a motor vehicle just yet. @AutoblogGreen @NPR - #NHTSA has OK'd GM rear-view system that can switch between mirror & camera views. pic.twitter.com/6CBeIit10v — Anthony Foxx (@SecretaryFoxx) February 22, 2016 The Full Display Mirror was developed by Gentex, which has long worked with GM. The FDM debuted in 2014 and some people hoped it would also make its way into the Tesla Model X. Gentex, which also makes auto-dimming mirrors, says that it has "set out to develop the technologies and core competencies necessary to manage this evolution of the rearview mirror." The Chevy Bolt EV will start at $37,500, before incentives. The 200-mile EV will go into production late this year for likely sale in early 2017. Related Video:
GM files to trademark name Badlands
Mon, Feb 23 2015If you've been hoping for General Motors to come out swinging at the Ford F-150 Raptor, we've had some tantalizing news for you of late. Last month we brought you a report that indicated GM has trademarked the name "Z71 Trail Boss," suggesting a potential hardcore off-roader. Now it seems the General has filed for a potentially even better name. That name, as our friends over at GM Authority have discovered, is "Badlands." The application, filed on February 16, indicates that it's for a truck, but of course it doesn't specify just what form it would take... or for that matter, under which division it would fall. So we could, in theory, be looking at the nameplate for a Raptor rival from Chevy or GMC (like the 2011 Sierra All Terrain HD concept pictured here), or for some other trim level, a concept truck, a special edition... just about anything. Heck, it could be for a Vauxhall, Opel or Holden for all we know at this point. Or GM could choose not to use it on anything at all, but here's hoping it'll emerge as something awesome in US showrooms sometime soon. The story of the 2014 Chevrolet SS: "Luxury, power, refinement, handling"
Thu, 07 Mar 2013Not including the women and men who built it, the 2014 Chevrolet SS has only been seen in person by a piddling number of people - fewer humans than would fill the gymnasium at a high school volleyball game. Not including the men and women who built it, no one has driven it. Even so, it is already saddled with two controversies: the way it looks and the way it shifts.
First to that shifting. Did we love the last Americanized Holden, the awesomely sportsome Pontiac G8 GXP, and its six-speed manual? Of course. Do we wish the SS came with a six-speed manual? Of course. But we'd like a toboggan to come with a manual transmission. We'd put a manual transmission on a weasel if we could because we're just wired that way; if it moves, it should come with a stick and a clutch. Or at least the option.
Let's climb down off the ledge, though. We haven't driven the SS and we have no idea how good (or not) the automatic is. And the Hobson's Choice in transmissions when it comes to sport sedans like the BMW M5, Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG and Jaguar XFR-S and, oh yeah, cars-that-really-should-have-manuals like the Audi R8 and Nissan GT-R and Porsche 918 and every single Lamborghini and Ferrari, for instance, hasn't stopped us from enjoying what is clearly the gruesome, dual-clutched demise of Western automotive civilization. Because in spite of our ululations at the dying of the six-speed light, we understand.
