Cars like this are very hard to find. The first owner bought the car new and kept it in a heated garage under a custom car cover since new. This Corvette is all original, numbers matching, never wrecked, painted or had any body work. He drove it a little each summer. He owns a few Corvettes but this was the only one he bought new so he tried to keep the miles low. He is a retired mechanic and did his own maintenance and made sure all maintenance was performed and he stored the car properly at the end of each summer. I have loved this car for years and tried to get him to sell it to me many years ago but he was too attached to the car. I finally got him to make me a deal a year ago. I have had the air conditioning upgraded to the latest system and I fixed a minor emissions issue it had. The car runs and drives great and has that deep awesome Corvette sound and still puts a lot of power to the road. It has the sport seats with the Bose system, power windows, door locks, tilt wheel with telescoping feature, tinted glass removable roof and many more options. This car is all original, it even has the original tires. I would love to keep it but finances are forcing me to sell it. At nearly 30 years old with such low miles this is a classic Corvette that will only go up in value if it is kept in this same condition. Most cars this age have over 100,000 miles and have had multiple owners. You can tell from looking and driving this car that it has been very well preserved since the day it was bought. I had my mechanic go over it in the spring and the only things he suggested, which I did fix was to upgrade the air conditioning and fix an issue with the exhaust, which would occasionally cause the check engine light to come on. Since it was fixed I driven it all summer with no issues and ice cold AC. I haven't seen another 1985 Corvette in this kind of condition with this low of miles and with such a perfect color combination.
