The car was body off restored over a 2 year period and finished in 1999. There have been less than 1000 miles put
on it since then and only 68k original miles. Car is in absolutely perfect condition - not a scratch, crack, chip,
mark, etc. in the beautiful lacquer paint. You will not find another 2nd generation Corvette this clean. The under
carriage is super clean as well. Every gauge and light works, no excuses.
The numbers matching 327 engine has 365hp. This was the highest hp, carbureted small block and was just under the
top 375hp fuel injected engine in performance. The engine was pulled again in 2011 - just to refresh the paint and
clean things up to maintain perfect show appearance.
The interior is Al Knoch and absolutely perfect, not a scratch, hole, loose seam, etc. The knock-off wheels not
have a mark on them. The car is super tight, no squeaks or rattles. The car is driven less than 100 miles a year
and only on dry, sunny days around town. All chrome is triple plated 'show chrome' and in perfect condition just
like everything else.

Chevrolet planning low-cost Corvette under Stingray?

If you're burnt out on musings about the Chevrolet Corvette, you'll want to go ahead and skip this post. Motor Trend reports General Motors is hard at work on a low-cost version of the seventh-generation sports car for 2015. Rumored to be called the Corvette Coupe, the car will forgo the Stingray and skip the 450-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 engine in favor of a 5.3-liter V8 with under 400 ponies. If you're keeping track, that's a shade of the same engine found behind the headlights of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra.
The report also suggests the Coupe will receive a number of aesthetic tweaks to separate it from the Stingray, including different front and rear fascias as well as new front fenders and a rear diffuser. Motor Trend says the point of all this is to cut the car's price tag, which means we may see a Corvette on showroom floors for less than $50,000 if this car comes to fruition.

New 2016 Chevy Volt ad arrives in time for Tomorrowland

As summer approaches, so do the blockbusters. We've already seen Furious 7 and The Avengers: Age of Ultron, while Mad Max: Fury Road arrives this week. Next week's big debut is Disney's Tomorrowland, starring George Clooney, and not surprisingly, the advertising campaign is kicking into gear. Perhaps attempting to capitalize on the high-tech theme of the flick, Chevrolet has teamed up with Disney for the second-generation Volt's very first commercial appearance. As we reported previously, the Volt will star on the big screen when Tomorrowland hits theaters, and it will be accompanied by the EN-V Concept. Take a look at the Volt's Tomorrowland spot, up top.
