  We at CAMPBELL BROTHERS AUTO SALES INC. are offering for sale this 2008 CHEVROLET COBALT LT 4 DOOR with a 2.2L ECOTEC ENGINE and AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION with 144,155 miles. We purchased this vehicle from a bank as a repossession and IT IS IN NEED OF ENGINE REPAIR. The engine will turn over but it will not start. We have not had the engine professionally diagnosed however when tuning it over it sounds to be low on compression. Therefore we are SELLING THIS VEHICLE TO BE IN NEED OF ENGINE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT. To make matters worse on our part while towing the car back to the dealership we broke the oil pan on the car with our tow truck. With that being said we want to be clear that the engine had oil in it when we purchased it. We cause the oil pan damage and not something else. This is a clean car and worthy of repair. The body is in very good condition and the interior is well equip and clean. It is an LT Package so it comes with most power options and exterior features including a spoiler and aluminum wheels. The tires are near new so once the engine issue is address this car should be road ready.  If you have the mechanical ability or a friend that does this could make you an inexpensive COBALT LT or a NICE PROFIT! CONDITION:

EXTERIOR: The exterior is in good condition. No major dents or scratched. Overall a good looking car.

INTERIOR: The interior may need a light cleaning and has a few burns in the upholstery however is still in nice condition.

DRIVE TRAIN: The engine will turn over but not start. It sounds like it is low on compression. WE broke the oil pan while transporting the car. We are selling this vehicle to be in need of engine repair of replacement. Tires have about 80%+ tread.

SHIPPING and PAYMENT: $500 non-refundable deposit due within 48 hours of the end of the auction. If deposit has not been received within 48 hours of the end of the auction the vehicle will be re-listed, no exceptions. Balance due upon pick up. Vehicle must be picked up or paid in full within 10 days of the end of the auction. All shipping must be paid for by the winning bidder. We accept C.O.D. in person, bank cashiers checks, and bank money wire only.
