I am selling my 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle 454 SS clone. One of the most popular and sought after muscle cars of all time! The car was purchased from a specialty dealership two years ago, hardly put 1000 miles on it. Frame is great and straight, no rust, drives straight. The oil has been changed regularly with full synthetic oil. It is running and driving great, and it has been well taken care of and garage kept. Less than 2500 miles on the rebuilt engine. Since I've owned it, there has been no racing, smoking, or any other type abuse. Recently installed full heat, resealed doors, windows, and taillights, replaced rear dash, installed a high flow air filter, and installed new tires and wheels. This car is really a blank slate and worth every penny. It's a perfect muscle car as parts are easily accessible and cheap, it's easy to work on, and it's fun to drive! I have all of the receipts and paperwork from restore, as well as two sets of floor mats, car cover, and sway bar kit that has yet to be installed. Title is clean and clear. This will be a great investment to whoever buys it as the value of these will only go up. As I'm sure you know these are not easy to find at this price with all of the options that are included. GM recalling nearly 4,000 vehicles over airbag concerns
Thu, 31 Jan 2013Four different General Motors vehicles from the 2012 model year are being recalled over a potential airbag issue. The driver's side airbag shorting bar in the 2012 Buick Verano and 2012 Chevrolet Camaro, Cruze and Sonic might make contact with the airbag terminals, even during a crash. If so, the airbag won't deploy when it should, possibly increasing injury to the driver.
The recall is expected to begin on February 13 for the 3,896 units that might be affected. GM will notify owners who can then take their vehicles to dealers to have the airbag coil replaced. A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration below has more info.
Race Recap: 2013 Twelve Hours of Sebring, cakewalk up front, grindfest out back [w/spoilers]
Tue, 19 Mar 2013This year's 12 Hours of Sebring wasn't exactly a foregone conclusion because we're still talking about racing, and anything can happen when the speeds are as high as the adrenaline and the desire. But we're still talking about Audi bringing it's two top-spec racers - and its huge budget and its nearly neurotic attention to detail - to a race that it uses as a test bed for The 24 Hours of Le Mans and as a way to open the endurance racing season with a victory.
Besides, 12 hours is a long time, especially at Sebring, and things didn't go all Audi's way. On top of that, although it was a pretty quiet race, behind the Audis things got even grimier, with plenty of battles, plenty of mechanical issues, and the new BMW Z4 GTE and Viper GTS-R being race tested. Oh, and that brand new chromed-out DeltaWing...

So after Chevy released the new Corvette Z06, we knew it was only a matter of time before it would have to square off against the Viper TA. And what better place to pit these two parallel pillars of American performance than on the drag strip? Fortunately that's just what we have here. In one corner, the 2014 Dodge Viper TA, with its 8.4-liter V10 pumping out 640 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque. In the other, the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, the supercharger on its 6.2-liter V8 more than making up for the discrepancy in displacement and cylinder count to produce 650 hp and just as much torque.
