For further questions email me : c.moltz@aol.com This Chevelle, however, does show all the indicators of being a true SS including 12 bolt differential, boxed control arms, badging, clear blinkerlenses, Round Pod gauges with green tint and everything else I know to look for.So if its not one, someone spent a lot of money making it one. Starting off with the exterior of the Chevelle. The body is straight as you look down the side sand all the door, hood, and trunk gaps are excellent. Everything is covered inbeautiful Blue Metallic base coat clear coat that has the White Stripes paintedon before the Blue. The paint has been buffed and polished to a deep rich shinewith a gorgeous finish I would say is a 10. All the chrome on this Chevelle hasbeen replaced and is new from the bumpers to the mirrors and handles. Also, allthe stainless is new and has an excellent fit. The glass in this Chevelle is newand all very nice. To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of restored15x8 SS Rallye's with a set of New BF Goodrich T/A Radial Tires. Theinterior of the '70 is done in the classic black color scheme that flowsperfectly with the exterior.

Chevy monitors drivers' biometrics while experiencing new Corvette Stingray

What we can't tell you, though, is what the car does to us - how its performance impacts us, physically. That's what makes this video series from Chevrolet so darn cool.
The Bow-Tie brand rented out Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch, got several (very) different individuals together, strapped a bunch of sensors to their bodies to record biometric data ranging from heart rate to respiration to brain activity, and then handed them keys to the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The results are explained in a series of videos, devoted to each driver, showing how different people react to the Corvette's performance.
If, like your author, you're a nerd for medical science, this is going to be a fascinating set of videos. If not, it's still pretty cool to see how the body of someone with racing experience, like Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi, reacts to tracking a car like the Corvette Stingray compared to the owner of legendary Detroit barbecue joint, Slows BBQ. Corvette Z06 and Viper TA square off at the strip
Wed, Jan 21 2015There are many long-standing grudge matches among automobiles: 911 vs GT-R, Mustang vs Camaro, Ferrari vs Lamborghini... but as far as high-end American metal goes, it doesn't get much more legendary than Viper vs 'Vette. So after Chevy released the new Corvette Z06, we knew it was only a matter of time before it would have to square off against the Viper TA. And what better place to pit these two parallel pillars of American performance than on the drag strip? Fortunately that's just what we have here. In one corner, the 2014 Dodge Viper TA, with its 8.4-liter V10 pumping out 640 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque. In the other, the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, the supercharger on its 6.2-liter V8 more than making up for the discrepancy in displacement and cylinder count to produce 650 hp and just as much torque. But numbers don't tell the whole story, so watch the video clip to see which reaches the end of the quarter-mile first.
