Chevrolet: Camaro Rs on 2040-cars

Selling my 1967 Camaro RS that originally came with a 327 and a 2 speed powerglide, power drum brakes, power steering and deluxe interior. Now it has a 1968 427 big block with a Holley and an Edelbrock aluminum intake and an MSD 6A ignition box, aluminum rad, TH400 and a 12 bolt posi rear end with what appears to be a 3.73 gear. Motor fires right up, idles great, does not smoke and has tons of torque. Has an aluminum rad with an electric fan. The deluxe interior is in excellent shape including the headliner, with the exception of the driver's seat but I've got brand new seat covers for the front seats. I also put in a console from a '67 Camaro that has the knee knocker clock.

GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable
Fri, 21 Sep 2012General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.

General Motors has released a new video detailing the cabin's evolution from conception to execution, complete with commentary from Ryan Vaughn, performance car interior design manager with Chevrolet. The quick clip details how manufacturing, engineering and design within General Motors worked together from the first sketches to ensure no compromises had to be made later down the line. How novel.
With plenty of hides traced with contrast stitching and available real carbon fiber trim, the cabin looks to be a few hundred miles ahead of the C6. Given how readily critics derided the previous generation for its cabin, the C7 should make writers work a little harder to find something to complain about. Check out the video below for yourself.
