This beautiful 68 Camaro convertible has been recently restored and has had less than 1,500 miles placed on her since its completion. The car has been completed aprox 6 months and has been garage kept since.

This car is extremely solid and show NO signs of rust! The body is laser straight and all body panels fit nice. The paint is show quality torch red and is slick as glass and straight as a guitar string. All of the chrome, emblems, stainless, rubbers seals, gaskets etc were replaced new. The windshield and both door glasses were replaced new however  the rear quarter glasses were not and appear to be original for to the car and for their age look excellent. Also the rear tail light bezels were not replaced but look good as well. The car has a brand new black convertible power top that looks awesome and fits great. The top frame was also disassembled sand blasted and repainted and also looks new. The power top goes up/down smoothly NO problems! The car is accented nicely with a new steel cowl hood and tuxedo black nose band. It sits comfortably on NEW 17 inch U.S. Mag chrome wheels with new tires (245/45/ZR17 rear) (235/45ZR17 rear)

The interior was also all replaced new or restored to look new. It is nice and clean through out. It has bucket seats with a factory console and new three spoke custom grip steering wheel. It has had new seat covers, carpet, door panels, sun visors, seal plates etc. It has all new and working aftermarket gauges under the dash. The car still retains the original am radio in the dash that does not work and there is one small place in the driver side dash pad not visible in the pics  about 1/2 inch long....But that is me being really picky so you don't have any surprises!! The door jams are just as clean and slick as the rest of the car!!

The undercarriage, floor pans, trunk frame etc. are extremely clean and very very solid NO sign of rust!!

The engine bay is clean and nicely detailed and filled with a fresh built stock non match # 350 that runs and sounds great. The engine is mated to a turbo 350 automatic that's shifts smoothly no problems and a stock 10 bolt rear end geared perfect for cruising at aprox 3:55.  It has had all new fuel tank, brakes, lines, belts, hoses, plugs, wires, chrome, etc. The car hits the road excellent and has no known mechanical problems.

All lights, wipers, signals, horn work properly. The head light doors have been upgraded to new electric motors that work flawless on a separate switch.

This is a very clean 1st generation Camaro convertible you will be proud to drive and show off anywhere!!!

No apologies... If you don't like anything about this car when you get here you will NOT be obligated to purchase it.....It's that simple and I can't display any more confidence than that.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible headed for Geneva debut

Mon, 28 Jan 2013

While most of the world is still coming down from all the hype surrounding the debut of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this month, we're already looking to the future. And according to Autoweek, the next chapter in the C7 story will unfold at the Geneva Motor Show in March. That's right, General Motors is reportedly using the Swiss stage as its venue to debut the Corvette Stingray convertible.
If this strikes you as odd, you aren't alone. After all, with a car that's such an American icon, we'd fully expect Chevrolet to unveil it here on our shores in either Chicago or New York. But according to Autoweek, GM is looking to boost export sales of its halo car, and since the C7 was engineered to compete with the world's best and brightest, showing it off in Geneva is somewhat of a smart move. What's more, those with sharp memories will recall that GM used the Geneva expo to debut the sixth-generation C6 Corvette convertible back in March 2004, so there's also a precedent.
Details surrounding the Corvette Stingray convertible are still slim, though we fully expect the 6.2-liter V8 and choice of either six-speed automatic or seven-speed manual transmissions to carry over unchanged. Prototypes spotted on the road showed the car fitted with a cloth convertible roof, as well.

Mother's Day Suggestion No. 2,506

Thu, 02 May 2013

With Mother's Day coming up, we're always looking for new gift ideas to celebrate the occasion, but hot laps around a track might not be the best suggestion for Darius Khashabi. In a video posted on YouTube, Khashabi straps his mom into the passenger seat of his C6 Corvette Z06 for some laps around Sonoma Raceway (formerly Infineon Raceway) at "60 percent" with comical results.
Now this isn't the first time Mama Khashabi has gotten seat time in her son's car around a track, as his YouTube page shows him pulling a similar stunt - with similar results - around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca last year. Scroll down for the video, but know that the action really gets going at around the 1:40 mark.
