45th Anniversary Callaway Camaro SC572 - Although there is no additional badging, 2012 was also the 25th anniversay
for the relationship between General Motors and Callaway and the creation of the BK2 Corvette. When I purchased
the car it also came with a 25th anniversary Callaway / General Motors pin and calendar. Callaway will not share
exact production numbers but I did receive an email stating this is 1 of less then 6 (presumably 5?) 45th
Anniversary Callaway Camaros. This is likely to be the only coupe with the polished chrome supercharger, power
hood, Callaway black chrome wheels and factory omitted 45th Anniversary strip package. I purchased this car new in
2012 from Findlay Chevrolet in Las Vegas Nevada. Only 4050 miles and it has been very well maintained. It has
never seen rain or been parked outside of a garage overnight. In addition to some of the options listed above this
manual 45th Anniversay also came with the Hurst short throw shifter. This car comes with all documentation
including; window sticker, build sheet, all service records, Callaway Authenticity plaque, email correspondence
with Callaway, Callaway owner manual and 2012 brochures, and welcome to the Callaway family letter.

More Corvette Stingray Factoids: Vanishing panel gaps and 26-mpg LT1
Thu, 28 Feb 2013During January's Detroit Auto Show, we managed a longer than expected wandering tag-team interview with C7 Corvette chief engineering exec Tadge Juechter (pictured above), and LT1 engine boss Jordan Lee (pictured below). They are, quite honestly, two of the very nicest bigshot lads to ever walk the engineering corridors of an American manufacturer. Both are enthralled by what they're doing for a day job. So are we.
We've followed the pre-sale anticipation for the Chevrolet C7 Corvette Stingray like an Oreck vacuum yanking every speck of dirt from a well-trampled carpet. Everything is reportable and contains a grain of further knowledge about this dramatically important and cheered-for car, as it continues to be pressured into representing all that is superior about the American dream. The Corvette wears one heavy cloak.

2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra show all their sides in Detroit
Tue, 15 Jan 2013There could hardly be more riding on the next-generation General Motors full-size pickup trucks, so the automaker has wisely made sure to have a selection of different models on hand at the Detroit Auto Show to show off. The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 GMC Sierra were both officially introduced last month at a stand-alone reveal, and now they'll be on display for the public to see in various body configurations and trim levels.
The Silverado LTZ Crew Cab and Sierra SLE Extended Cab are aimed at providing more of a high-end pickup experience, while the Silverado LT Z71 Extended Cab and Sierra SLT Z71 Crew Cab should have off-road fans scouting out their favorite trails. The crew cab trucks won't go into production until sometime during the second quarter of this year - with other bodystyles coming later in the year - but we have plenty of live images from Detroit for you to enjoy.
GM Recalling 370,000 Trucks For Fire Risk
Mon, Jan 13 2014DETROIT (AP) - General Motors is recalling 370,000 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickups from the 2014 model year to fix software that could cause the exhaust components to overheat and start a fire. The recall includes 303,000 trucks in the U.S. and 67,000 in Canada and Mexico. All of the trucks involved have 4.3-liter or 5.3-liter engines. GM said eight fires have been reported, but no injuries. One garage was damaged, the company said. All of the incidents occurred in cold weather. The company is asking customers not to leave their trucks idling unattended. GM dealers will reprogram the software for free. The company will inform owners starting Jan. 16. The major recall announcement, which came on Saturday, marred the Silverado's winning of the 2014 North American Truck of the Year Award at the Detroit Auto Show on Monday.
