I bought this one owner car in St Louis and had the original title signed ,tried to transfer but seems in 2013 he applied for a lost title which made this one no good, he has died so I am tired of messing with it.So no title for parts only.  The owner was going to redo the car when he fell ill.It has a crate GM 350 motor installed with a Edelbrock alum intake and carb, with less than 10,000 miles on it, transmission was completely serviced when engine was installed and shifts perfect. Original spare has never been mounted on car.I replaced rear brake lines and they need to be bled again due to brake light is on, but they work. Interior is in pretty good shape ,car has rust but not to bad, .Everything works (not sure about a/c but was told it did), tilt wheel steering column and B & M shifter. Car runs and drives VERY GOOD. Front end seems very tight and runs down the road at 75 straight and smooth, even with the old tires that are on it. Power brakes with disc brakes on front, power steering works very well, 104551 miles on the car itself. Does not seem to leak any fluids, no smoke or noises while running or starting, auto choke works on carb and does not run hot,

If you are building another car or truck this would be a perfect donor car for the front clip and drive train , steering column etc. All the glass in the car is the factory tinted and is perfect and door windows operate well. If building another Camaro the interior could be cleaned up and is good driver quality, dash is very nice with only one small crack .Dome light, lights, wipers, radio, heater and a/c controls all work. Also there is a complete stripe kit from GM for the blue rally sport.

Car is sold as is where is and buyer is responsible for shipping. Did not show a listing for no title so had to use rebuilt ,rebuild or reconstructed. But again no title bill of sale only.

2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray order guide hits the web

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

The official debut of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is only part of the excitement for fans of Chevy's virtuoso sportscar. Although we got to see the car and some of its preliminary specs in Detroit and Geneva, there is still no word on pricing and some of the juicier data points we've been waiting for - such as confirmed power output, EPA estimated mileage figures and performance numbers. Until then, CorvetteBlogger has gotten its hands on the order guide for the coupe version of the car - in both base and Z51 iterations - revealing tidbits like standard and optional features and available color combinations.
Some other new details made it onto the order guide, such as our first interior specs for the coupe including slightly less hip room and headroom, more shoulder room and the same amount of legroom. To see the full order guide, head on over to CorvetteBlogger. From what we can gather, it sounds like more information will be revealed on April 25 during a party at the Corvette Museum, and for those sun worshipers patiently waiting for a convertible, it would appear you've got another model year to wait through.

New Bright creating exclusive 1:8 scale radio-controlled C7 Corvette

Mon, 04 Feb 2013

If you want a new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette but can't quite save up enough pennies for the monthly payment, we have good news for you. Toymaker New Bright has pulled the covers off of its 1:8 scale remote-controlled version of the American sports car. Complete with a very detailed interior and LED headlights, this large-scale R/C is as close as most of us will ever come to having one of the menacing Chevrolet models to call our very own. New Bright still hasn't released pricing or availability, but word has it the coupe should hit the market soon.
Right now, it appears as if the C7 will hit shelves in Torch Red, though we don't know if other colors are planned as well. The good news is that New Bright isn't exactly turning its back on the old C6 - representatives say the company will continue to make its popular C6R racecar for those who prefer round taillights.

UAW to vote on strike at Kentucky Corvette plant

Tue, 08 Apr 2014

The current wait time for a new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is well, not short. With word of a strike at the Bowling Green, KY factory responsible for seventh-generation sports car, though, that wait time could end up growing substantially.
Now, a strike is still a ways off. UAW Local 2164, which represents the 800 workers responsible for screwing the Corvette together, is set to vote on authorizing a strike today, but even if the employees give the action a go, it's far from a sure thing. According to The Tennessean, both regional and national union officials would need to put their stamp of approval on strike action.
"The membership has to vote to strike, but it's just a step in the process," said Gary Casteel, the UAW's Region 8 director and one of the people that would need to authorize a strike action. Casteel told The Tennessean, "It's purely a local situation, though. They are having some issues with the local management."
