THIS IS A 1967 CAMARO RS PROJECT CAR. I AM GOING TO START AT A NO RESERVE. SO ONE BID IT WILL SELL . IT IS A ROLLING CAR. NO ENGINE OR TRANS. IT HAS THE POWRE STEERING THERE SOME PARTS THAT GOES WITH THE CAR IT STILL HAS THE 4 SPEED PEDLES ALL THE RS REALYS AND WIREING IS ON THE FRONT. THE FRONT FRAME IS GOOD. IT HAS BOTH INTER FENDERS AND THE FRONT RADIATOR SUPPORT THAT IS BENT. THIS WOULD BE A CAR TO START ON THAT NEED A LOT OF WORK AND PARTS ALL OF THE TRIM TAGS AND VIN IS ON THE CAR I DONT HAVE A TITLE BUT WILL GIVE A BILL OF SALE WITH THE CAR. THE TRIM TAG HAS O7 B ST 67-2437 NOR TR 760 Z PAINT F-2 2LG-3L. THE FLOORS AND TRUNK WILL NEED SOME WORK OR REPLACED. THE REAR QUARTERS HAVE BEEN CUT OUT OF THE CAR BELOW THE TOP CREASE. Joe Flacco wins C7 Corvette along with MVP honors
Mon, 04 Feb 2013As part of a longstanding tradition, the MVP of Super Bowl XLVII, Joe Flacco, quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, was given a new car directly after the game and trophy celebrations. For 2013, that car is a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, and it was presented to Flacco by Rick Flick of Banner Chevrolet, a dealership in New Orleans that was wiped out by Hurricane Katrina in 2005 before returning to prominence as the only Chevy dealer in Orleans Parish.
Last year, Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning took home a 2012 Corvette GS Centennial Edition. Manning also won in 2008, when he selected a Cadillac Escalade Hybrid as his reward. In 2011, quarterback Aaron Rodgers accepted the keys to a Camaro convertible.
Though we're most definitely an auto-obsessed group, we did watch the Big Game along with nearly everyone else in America. And we've gotta say, as if winning the Super Bowl and receiving the Tiffany-designed Pete Rozelle Trophy wasn't enough for the multi-millionaire MVP athletes, a brand-new C7 seems like an awfully generous prize. "Turbo" Chevrolet Camaro is a 700-HP fantasy car come to life [w/video]
Thu, 07 Feb 2013For a concept car built to promote an animated movie about a snail that wants to go racing, this thing ain't half bad. The outsized monster you see before you started life as a Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, and then went through a big-time Hollywood makeover before being positioned on the Chevrolet stand here in Chicago.
This 2013 "Turbo" Camaro Coupe is getting the promotion machine ratcheted up for a new DreamWorks tale by the name of, you guessed it, Turbo. Coming this summer, the movie will follow one snail's quest to become a race driver worthy of making the cut at the Indy 500. Like many DreamWorks vehicles before it, we're guessing that the petrolhead snail will star in a movie that adults (especially racing fans) with have no trouble watching with their kids. Check out the trailer below to see if you agree.
As for the car, we're told that it is "instrumental" in transforming Turbo from snail into racer. Helping the beastly pony car in this mighty task, is an ankle-cracking front splitter matched by a ungodly huge rear wing out back, a COPO hood and a supercharged (yes, supercharged) V8 engine making more than 700 horsepower. 24-inch wheels all the way around - 10-inches wide in front and 15-inches wide in back - should allow the "Turbo" Camaro to hook up with ease, as well.
