Hello you are bidding on 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71 with 9500 miles. The truck is a recovered theft vehicle. The truck runs and drives great. The trucks interior is in great condition the leather interior is in like new condition. The truck will need the following parts left tail light , rear bumper assembly, front bumper center metal bar, tailgate. right rear door shell, both mirrors, front chevrolet emblem in the grille, and misc clips and mounting hardware. The truck runs great and can be used daily in it's current condition is you like. The doors all open and shut good. The appears to be no damage to the frame rails, and structure. The vehicle does have a leather interior. The miles are the correct miles on the truck we verified it on carfax, but when the insurance company recovered it there were no keys so they could not light the dash up, so on the title they checked Not actual miles on the title. The engine compartment is like new. Very nice truck. The hood has a few dents in that will need to be repaired. The grille is ok. The front bumper end caps are ok, the left side cap is scratched. Both bedside have damage on them, the right bedside will repair no problem, the left bedside were the bumper got into will need some more extensive work on it. The left front door has a minor scratch at the bottom of it. The vehicle is available for inspection please feel free to contact me at 502 817 2972 with any questions you have. GM recalls trucks and SUVs for brake pedal problem

The Basics: General Motors will recall over 473,000 North American examples of the 2015-2016 Chevrolet Silverado HD, GMC Sierra HD, and police pursuit versions of the Chevy Tahoe. These include 426,573 vehicles in the US and 46,837 in Canada, according to Reuters. The Problem: The brake pivot nut can loosen over time, which can render the pedal inoperative. This would be a danger to drivers trying to stop the vehicles. In some cases, the "Service Engine Soon" light might come on. Injuries/Deaths: None reported. The Fix: Dealers will inspect the pivot bolt, and if necessary they will apply adhesive to it and reinstall the part with increased torque. Correction: Dealers will inspect the pivot bolt installation to determine whether the vehicle has already received the production remedy. If not, the dealer will add adhesive to the nut, and reinstall the nut at an increased torque. GM recalling 118K Colorado, Canyon pickups over missing hood latches

General Motors has announced a recall of 118,800 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon pickup trucks due to the possibility of secondary hood latches not being installed at the time of manufacture. The affected vehicles are from the 2010, 2011 and 2012 model years, all of which were built between November 9, 2009 and August 28, 2012.
According to the official National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report, these trucks fail to "comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 113, 'Hood Latch System.' The hood may be missing the secondary hood latch." In other words, owners of these trucks could find their vehicles' hoods opening unexpectedly while driving.
The official recall campaign is expected to begin on January 17, 2013. Dealers will inspect the affected pickups and if a secondary hood latch is not present, one will be installed free of charge. Scroll down to read the official NHTSA report.

Absurd as it is, some buyers today are worried about getting their car to last throughout the term of their seven-year car loan. Minnesota resident Bob Sportel has the opposite issue: his Chevrolet truck seemingly won't die. Sportel needed a cheap ride to get to work when he took a job at a farmer's co-op 38 years ago, so he bought a rusty 1957 Chevy pickup for $75 from a farmer; at the time, the 20-year-old truck was almost as old as Bob was. After nearly four decades of daily driving and an estimated 300,000 miles, Sportel is still driving the truck today. Bolts secure a fender, Bondo secures the lights, what looks like a whole roll of duct tape keeps him sitting on the bench seat instead of in it. For a 58-year-old pickup that's never seen a garage or a new coat of paint – but did get its oil changed four times a year Â– that's not bad; Sportel thinks his repair bill hasn't got above $1,000 for the entire time he's owned the truck.
