This is a very nice 1994 Chevrolet regular cab 2wd very fast truck!!! I did not build this truck but someone did a great job!!! It has a small block 383 stroker engine, with Trick Flow 23 Degree Aluminum Heads. The engine has Roller rockers and Hooker headers that flow thru dual exhaust. This truck sounds mean and does not smoke, and runs strong!!! The intake is an aluminum Edlebrock with Holley four barrel carb with vacuum secondary and electric choke. The whole ignition is Multiple Spark Discharge down to the wires. The automatic transmission is a 4L60E, has the number 1991 stamped on it, with a stall converter that shifts great!!! The gear shifter is a B&M ratchet shifter mounted on the floor. The rear end is modified with coil over shocks and 4 link set up and posi-traction. Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
All Chevrolet vehicles were required to have five-spoke aluminum wheels and a chrome band up front, as part of the Bowtie brand's overall image.

2020 Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra recalled due to faulty brake component

General Motors is recalling 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 pickups to fix a defect in the trucks' brake system. Certain Silverado and Sierra pickups were produced with brake-caliper bolts that were not heat-treated. Without heat-treating, the bolts are weaker than they should be, and there is a risk that they could fail, which would affect the trucks' braking performance, possibly leading to a crash. In total, 20,352 vehicles are affected. Owners of affected trucks will be contacted by GM. Dealers will inspect the bolts and replace those that are defective. Related Video: Â Â Â
