1984 Chevy Silverado 1/2ton 4x4 Lifted Show Truck $$$ Invested! on 2040-cars
Scranton, Pennsylvania, United States
1984 Chevy C-10 4x4 This is a show truck from the 90's and early 2000's. No expense was spared with it. I don't have the details on the lift or components but the pictures tell the whole story. There is a full roll-cage installed. It is an all custom interior. The frame is like new. The underside in all like new. The tires and rims are like new. The carpet is discolored and could use a dye. It looks greenish. I'm sure this is an easy fix. The paint on the sides is checked. It isn't noticeable from a few feet away. The hood is very nice. The engine sounds like it is worked over very well. It sounds like a high-dollar build. Again, I don't have any receipts or details. The truck has a crazy amount of power. It has a perfect stance. The exhaust sounds awesome. It is very throaty. The bed is carpeted inside. It has an array of custom billet accessories inside and under the hood. Study the pics closely and don't miss any details. It is an amazing find and theres only one available. Call now 570-840-5942 Dave |

GM profits threatened by glut of pickups
Wed, 05 Dec 2012Automotive News reports that General Motors may slash production or ramp up discounts in order to deal with an oversupply of pickup trucks. GM currently has more than double the standard supply of pickups, and the vehicles are threatening to dampen the automaker's profits for 2013. Typically, automakers try to sustain a 60- to 75-day supply of vehicles, but GM is currently loaded with a 139-day supply, as of last month. At the end of November, the automaker was sitting on 245,853 units.
The manufacturer says that it will adjust production accordingly before laying any incentives on the profitable pickups. Even so, there's some concern that the inventory swell could hurt the roll-out of the next-generation Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. GM actually began slowly stepping back production in August, but it's clear the company will take further action as it heads toward the end of the year and into the next. Analysts predict the automaker could reduce pickup manufacturing by nearly half in the first quarter of 2013.
That still may not be enough to keep GM from laying extra cash on the Silverado and GMC Sierra. While the company's incentive spending was down in November compared to the same month in 2011, both the Ram 1500 and Ford F-150 saw double-digit percentage increases in sales last month while the Silverado and Sierra numbers slid compared to a year prior. Incentive spending could help move more trucks and add some balance to the GM inventory surge.
Camaro spy shots show subtly different grille, front fascia
Sun, 03 Feb 2013It looks like there some changes in store for the Chevrolet Camaro - the only thing is that we just don't know what Chevy has up its sleeve. Looking at these spy shots, we'd initially be inclined to think that there is just a minor facelift or a new special edition, but upon closer inspection, there are a few oddities about this car that definitely have us intrigued.
The most obvious difference on this prototype is the slightly restyled front fascia with a smaller lower air inlet and the two-bar grille. Then we get to some of the car's mysterious details. For starters, this fascia has the SS vent above the grille, but it looks to be blocked off. Granted this could just be a one-off piece used for testing. What really piqued our interest was at the rear of the car where it has quad exhaust outlets that are used on the ZL1. Could this be the LS7-powered Camaro that we reported on back in December?
At this point, your guess is as good as ours as to what we're looking at here, so let us know in the comments what you think this could be.
