Nice bodied MECHANIC OWNED 1982 C-10 Chevy pickup, lowered with c-notch kit and complete front lower spindle setup. Fresh rear lenses, fresh motor AND trans 350 with a th400 ONLY 600 MILES ON BOTH MOTOR AND TRANS SINCE REBUILD!!!! Nice newer seats out of a silverado (captains chairs) complete dash, exterior trim to make it a custom delux. One issue is that there are no rear shocks, the truck has been like that since before I bought it, guy was going to bag it, but never got around to it, I have lowering kit shocks, just needs upper mounts to be built. Some rust on the bed, around the wheel wells, and in the hinge pockets for the tailgate, AND A LARGE HOLE IN THE CENTER OD THE BED ABOVE THE REAR AXLE. Basically all that's left is the body work for the bed and it's ready for paint. Cab and front clip extremely solid. Everything in primer. All lights and the horn work, just needs the rear shocks to be road legal. Has fresh brakes all around with new lines. Custom bombed exhaust dumps under bed.

Chevy Corvette Stingray "colorizer" lets you chase the rainbow
Thu, 14 Feb 2013After you've convinced your better half to let you buy a new Corvette, then comes the hard part... actually figuring out which 'Vette you want. While Chevrolet has yet to release the official configurator for the 2014 Corvette Stingray, it did give us something else to kill some time playing around with.
The C7 Corvette "colorizer" recently went online, and it lets you look at the car in all of its available colors and wheel options from four different angles so that when this car does go on sale, you know exactly which one you want. It includes the Corvette's full pallet of colors including Torch Red, Laguna Blue and the hue you see above, Velocity Yellow. Toss in the black wheels, and we're sold. If you have some time this afternoon, be sure to check it out the Corvette colorizer for yourself, and even if you don't have the time, we've put together a gallery with all of the possible color combinations.

2014 Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra full configurators truck in
Sat, 15 Jun 2013You can now put prices to your wildest option-sheet dreams of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. A microsite for the full-size pickup truck twins has been up since January, and now the full-blown configurator is live and ready to take your virtual orders. The only two chassis configurations available at the moment are the Crew Cab with either a short or standard bed - Regular and Double Cab versions will come later. In Silverado flavors that will run you $32,710 for the short box, $33,010 for the standard box, while the Sierra adds a $1,500 premium to both of those prices, and destination and handling for both models adds another $995.
Since these are American pickups the list of modifications is lengthy, but we added $11,450 in just two steps by starting with the Silverado Crew Cab and standard bed, then checking four-wheel drive and the LTZ Z71 package. Our final truck, resplendent in Brownstone Metallic paint, heated and cooled Cocoa/Dune perforated leather seating and tasty details like chrome recovery hooks, and engine block heater and LED cargo box lighting, rang up $57,285 at the candy store.
They'll be on dealer lots sometime this summer, so now's a good time to start practicing your box-checking.
