1965 Chevy Truck - Garage kept truck and sat for 2 years "slowly" getting worked on until this past September ( been on disability/neck)
Moved to GA last July, had to come back to CA due to a disability case,(hadn't shipped my truck yet) forced to drive it here daily as of late Sept(now too much truck for my injury)
Due to a divorce and what the current needs are I have to sale my truck. When it rains it pours.

Drive Train
350 motor - 34k on dash, runs strong...no work done to it yet
Added headers and dual exhaust - flowmasters
Have Edelbrock polished manifold & 350 Custom Chrome dress up kit still in boxes
New 700R4 Tranny - 2 months old - B&M shifter (T-handle stripped needs to be tapped and re-threaded)
Power steering

Body / Interior
Daytona Blue paint  - 2 yrs old, still under warranty
Straight body, LONGBED / FLEETSIDE - no rust - true CA truck
Chrome Grille, bumpers, Led lights, bezels etc all under 2 yrs

Wood bed solid but needs to be sanded down or replaced depending on what you want

Have the Stainless steel strips /  bolt kit still in packages to send as well

New wiring kit for the truck with all options (power windows, ac etc)

Gas tank under truck (not behind bench)

Tilt Column steering column - blinkers, wipers, etc work fine with out any issues

Newer front windshield, New rubber/felt around doors and windows, glass etc,

Have new chrome door sills with bowties as well

Dash is solid, no cuts on stereo - awesome

Motor runs strong. Great truck all around, huge potential, had BIG plans for it. This truck drives hills every day and prrrs strong. Has a lot of power and I drive it 70 daily on the freeways out here with "plenty to go in overdrive". Could burnout down the street if I felt like it, planned to but the world I knew turned upside down, its gotta go now though.

Not too happy (DIVORCE) please dont waste my time with trade talks or low ball offers.
Forced to sale now for my daughter and my soon to be ex-wife, also my needs of a small car or a van to live in soon....

If you need video or additional pics lmk and I will do my best. Rough time right now, I'll do my best in answering all requests

**Extra parts to come with the truck all in original packaging ( Stainless Steel bed kit, strips,bolts,nuts etc - New wiring harness kit for the whole truck - Polished Edelbrock Intake - w/ High Performance 350 engraved Custom Chrome Dress Up Kit - Chrome bowtie door sills - firewall pad etc)

Chevrolet Camaro in Korea - Click above for high-resolution image

There once was a time when Daewoo was one of the biggest companies in South Korea. It was larger than both LG and Samsung, and second only to Hyundai. But these days the name is all but gone.

GM applies for LT5, LTX trademarks... are new small block variants coming?

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

Recently discovered General Motors trademark applications for LT4, LT5, LT88 and LTX have observers wondering what kind of high-performance offerings could be on their way. A new LT4 would mark a return of the engine designation first used on the Corvette Grand Sport, SLP Pontiac Firehawk and SLP Chevrolet Camaro SS from 1996 and 1997. Supposition at Corvette Forum - which provided advance intel on the C7 like these leaked images - believes a new LT4 could go into the high-performance trim of the next-gen, 2015 Camaro that would be more powerful than the 580-horsepower Camaro ZL1.
Seeing an LT5 again would also be déjà vu - in its former life it was a 5.7-liter V8 for the C4 Corvette ZR-1 from 1990-1994 designed by Lotus, producing from 370 hp to 405 hp. A mix of rumor and hope is that the new LT5 will be a supercharged evolution of the 6.2-liter LT1 (pictured) placed in the new C7 Corvette, and that it will go into the C7 version of the ZR1 pumping out something like 700 hp.
The LTX trademark is, as with that last letter, a complete mystery. If the "X" isn't a generic way to denote the whole LT family, it's wondered if it LTX could refer to a crate motor offering like the LSX.

Why Cadillac thinks it needs to succeed in Europe to sell cars elsewhere

Tue, 26 Feb 2013

Ward's Auto has taken an interesting look at the renewed focus General Motors is showing towards Cadillac in Europe. Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet and Cadillac in Europe (pictured), says in order for the luxury brand to thrive in China, it first needs to succeed in the old country. The reason? Chinese buyers look to Europe for cues as to what's deemed worthy of the term "luxury." There are hurdles to the plan, however. In addition to the fact that the EU is flooded with high-end nameplates, GM doesn't necessarily have the distribution network in place to put buyers behind the wheel.
Combine that with persistent economic woes and Cadillac's checkered past marred by a lack of diesel engine options and a bankrupt distributor, and the road ahead for the brand looks like less of an uphill climb and more like a straight-up cliff face. But Docherty is optimistic and says she has a plan for the brand. We recommend heading over to Ward's for a closer look at the full read.
