Just a really neat old Chevy.  This was a California truck up until 04 so it has very little rust issues. Floors are solid, front pass fender has rust at the bottom where they all do but that's  it. I purchased this great truck with a bad trans and installed a 375 TH in place of the bad 400. Trans is New . Truck has a "healthy" 350  engine not sure what yr guessing late 70's early 80's. It's not radical but certainly not stock. Everything works on the truck right down to the cig lighter and dome light. I installed a brand New wiring harness under the dash is all new wiring plus small harness going to the starter is all NEW. Only thing doenst work is backup lights but i never hooked them up to trans. The only body issues is on the pass side cab as seen in photo, would be easy to fix if seat is removed to beat it out. Wood floor is all original an needs replaced. All glass is good windows work great. All gauges work except battery i don't think the alternator is wired right i never got that far to see. Has the upgraded heater, fan blows, wipers work and i put a new gas gauge sender in it also. Both bumpers are pretty good for and old truck seat cover appears to be original? truck shows 54k but who knows? Still has original spare tire carrier under the bed with good tire still air up. Has tow receiver and elect plug but it needs wired up. Great matching tires with 70% tread nice chrome wheels that would clean up with some still wool, i've cleaned up worse. If your looking for rat rod material then you found it. Truck has what i believe is the original first Cali  tag on the front bumper dated 63, truck sold new in Oct 63 for 64 model yr.  Drum brakes stops good has slight pull to right probably needs adj, minor. Was originally 3spd truck and someone at one time started to put a floor shifter in it so has cut -out in floor i have the nice floor shifter if you want it is currently hooked to column. Truck is running open headers so WILL HAVE TO BE TRANSPORTED. I did have exhaust set up from another truck that i installed but is is only 2inch and just chokes this engine down terribly so i took it back off,  it will need bigger exhaust, it can be seen in the back of the bed. I was going to restore this truck cause thats what i do but have found no time for all i have to do already so here it is and it is a great candidate since it is in such good shape. Rocker panels are solid in the truck. Grill is pretty nice for age.  I live 3 miles off the highway but would get it there for transporter to pickup so you wouldn't be charged for residential pickup. Buyer pays all shipping i will hep any way i can. Any question just ask, i don't live on computer but will try to watch for questions.  I will require 500.00 deposit within 24hrs Paypal and the rest by doing a bank to bank wire transfer, its about the only safe way for both parties anymore and its fast, if you can't do this then please don't bid.. Tags and title are current in Oklahoma clear in my name, in fact if your in Okla the tag is good till Oct.  Truck has some paperwork to show Cali history. Thanks and good luck.

Couple things i forgot: There is no tailgate for truck but i know where one is for 30.00 if he still has it.
The E-brake isn't hooked up the bungie strap on the bed is holding brake cables.
I have the chrome breather for engine but no filter.
Tach on dash isn't hooked up so idk if functional. Good Luck.

Looking back at the Citation IV concept that likely shaped the GM EV1

Wed, Aug 20 2014

Those who forget history are condemned to repeat it. We're not sure how that applies to the GM EV1, but we'd still like to share something from Autoline Daily, an online automotive new show with our friend John McElroy. He's been covering the business for decades now and recently found something interesting: pictures of the 1984 Chevrolet Citation IV concept, seen above. Displayed half a decade before the first electric concept that would become the EV1 (inset), McElroy says it's now clear that the elegant, aerodynamic EV1 took a lot of styling cues from the Citation IV, which was developed in part thanks to GM's new-at-the-time Aerodynamics Laboratory. We agree with him that the spats over the rear wheels, the flush glass, and the covered headlights all bear a certain kind of similarity between the two cars. That the colors almost match is a nice coincidence. The Impact (the concept version of the EV1) looked "frumpier," McElroy says, because it wasn't as long as the Citation. You can read a lot more about the Citation IV here and check out McElroy's thoughts in the video below. Find the Citation starting at around 3:45. This content is hosted by a third party.
