1989 Chevrolet Blazer Silverado Sport Utility 2-door 5.7l on 2040-cars
Faison, North Carolina, United States
Up for sale is a 1989 K5 Blazer, all original except for a few upgrades. The engine was pulled out and stroked to a 383 and the tranny now has 2000 stall. The interior is all orginal with the exception of the side panels behind front seats has been fitted with aluminum diamond plate. The 4x4 works perfectly and the front hubs have also been upgraded so they can be unlocked when not needed. The truck was all red when it came from Chevrolet but a prior owner added the black to the side panels to break it up and it makes a tasteful contrast with just the right amount of factory chrome to accent it. To our knowledge it has not been in a wreck or at least it hasn't since we have been the owners. The removable fiberglass top is also in great shape and it is a treat to sport it around the beach with the top removed. The grandchildren think that's the only way to ride! It is for sale locally and we reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Feel free to ask questions and good luck if you decide to bid. A $500.00 non refundable deposit is required to be put down within 24 hours of the end of the auction. It can be paid by Paypal. The balance is due whenever it is picked up and needs to be paid by a bank cashier's check.

Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard
Tue, 19 Mar 2013Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.
If this video looks familiar to you, it's because this is the full ad that we first got a preview of in Chevy's longer, full-line spot, where the brand's "Find New Roads" tagline was introduced. Scroll down to see this dedicated Sonic spot, along with the older ad, and remember, the Sonic is still - still - not a skateboard.
