painted about 15 years ago and still looks great. Original chrome on the bumpers is in really good condition. All the stainless and aluminum trim is in great condition. Original floor pans. It's a factory ac car.
There is a small leak in the system that will have to be fixed for it to blow cold. It needs a new heater core, and there is a rip in the front seat back.
It's a 283 2 bbl with power glide and power steering, has new power steering lines. It has air lift easy street air ride suspension with digital controller. ride tech rear tubular trailing arms, upper arm and
adjustable panhard bar. Ride tech shocks all the way around. Rear end has been rebuilt with all new seals and has a fresh coat of black paint on it. All new u joints and billet urethane carrier
bearing. Has new alternator, fuel pump, carb and wheel cylinders. 15x7 Chrome steel wheels with diamondback custom triple white wall tires and stock dog dish hubcap. Has factory back up lights that work, there

Amelia Island 2013: Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray from concepts to split windows

Wed, 13 Mar 2013

While this year marks 60 years of the Chevrolet Corvette, the 2013 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance focused on one of the coupe's most sought after models, the 1963 Sting Ray. General Motors design boss Ed Welburn was on hand to show off the all-new C7 Corvette, but even the hard-edged styling of the 2014 Stingray couldn't take away from the beautiful 1963 models sitting out on the field.
In addition to the original Sting Ray and the 1959 Sting Ray Concept, some of the other classic 'Vettes included "Big Tank" racecars, an interesting cutaway coupe, a right-hand-drive Z06 and the attention-grabbing 1963 Corvette Rondine by Pininfarina. Another impressive Corvette was the 1964 Corvette XP-819 rear-engine prototype. Owner Mike Yager had the car finished as a driving chassis for this year's show, but promises the car will be back to its original glory in time for next year's event.

Chevy Corvette Stingray picks up another award, this time from Automobile

Mon, 18 Nov 2013

The new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has picked up another buff book accolade after capturing Road and Track's Performance Car of the Year award. The seventh-generation of America's sports car (sorry Viper, Mustang, et al.) has been named Automobile Magazine's Automobile of the Year.
Automobile's award to the Corvette over competitors is the mirror image of its rival Motor Trend, which named the Cadillac CTS its car of the year over the C7. The CTS was, according to the Automobile team, the closest contender to the mighty Stingray. Great news all around for General Motors it seems.
As for what pushed the Corvette past its distant, four-door cousin, Automobile commended its excellent, 6.2-liter V8 calling the car's performance "simply awesome" while also remarking that it is easier to drive fast than ever before thanks to steering and chassis tweaks. Following a theme set by other publications, there were also plaudits for the interior, of all things, with the buff book complimenting the car's ergonomics and material quality, while also praising the standard seats.
