This is a 1955 chevy hardtop project car. True Mileage is unknown. It needs a complete restoration! If it is not in the pictures it is not included. No front clip or engine or tranny. The interior is mostly complete and intact. It will need quarters and a front clip. The floors are not too bad...the only hole that I can see is by the drivers side of the front seat. It will need a couple floor braces, drivers side rockers...inner and outer. Passenger side rockers should be usable. The trunk floor is rusted at the very back, as is the tailpan. The three rally wheels on it are not included...but I will have it rolling for the buyer on other wheels. This was originally a 6 powerglide car. Please look at all the pics. I am only going to run this auction for a few days and then on July 10th, if it is not sold it will be at the Iola, WI car show in the swap area...space number AM59. Please call with any questions. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due immediately...balance due on pick up. thanks...Kevin (906)932-0055

New Bright creating exclusive 1:8 scale radio-controlled C7 Corvette
Mon, 04 Feb 2013If you want a new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette but can't quite save up enough pennies for the monthly payment, we have good news for you. Toymaker New Bright has pulled the covers off of its 1:8 scale remote-controlled version of the American sports car. Complete with a very detailed interior and LED headlights, this large-scale R/C is as close as most of us will ever come to having one of the menacing Chevrolet models to call our very own. New Bright still hasn't released pricing or availability, but word has it the coupe should hit the market soon.
Right now, it appears as if the C7 will hit shelves in Torch Red, though we don't know if other colors are planned as well. The good news is that New Bright isn't exactly turning its back on the old C6 - representatives say the company will continue to make its popular C6R racecar for those who prefer round taillights.
Mother's Day Suggestion No. 2,506
Thu, 02 May 2013With Mother's Day coming up, we're always looking for new gift ideas to celebrate the occasion, but hot laps around a track might not be the best suggestion for Darius Khashabi. In a video posted on YouTube, Khashabi straps his mom into the passenger seat of his C6 Corvette Z06 for some laps around Sonoma Raceway (formerly Infineon Raceway) at "60 percent" with comical results.
Now this isn't the first time Mama Khashabi has gotten seat time in her son's car around a track, as his YouTube page shows him pulling a similar stunt - with similar results - around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca last year. Scroll down for the video, but know that the action really gets going at around the 1:40 mark.
