I have a 2002 Chevy Avalanche z71 1500 4wd with low 10100 Miles (will go up some I still am driving it to work daily) 5.3 Vortec Engine. It has 6in Lift 35in Tires on 20in wheels with about 65% Tread left. Wheels have some light pitting nothing bad. It has a cold air intake with flow master exhaust sounds really good. Chromed out grille Full window tint and stereo system with Kenwood cd player ipod ready and amp running all speakers sounds great. It has a leather heated seats. Has every option you can think of including sunroof and onstar. It has a tow package that all I have ever towed is my small boat. This avalanche from factory has the 4.10 Gear ratio and factory rear locker its hard to find one with this set up. In the last six months It had a new pitman and idler arm installed. New brakes were done about a year and half ago. Ive had it serviced every 3000 miles. My family has taken great care of this truck my wife has daily driven it for the last year and before that I daily drove it. The only issues with the truck is a very small ding on the drivers side rear door and a piece of the plastic cladding is broken there too but you never really notice and a new piece of the cladding is $170.00.  The drivers side window rolls up slower then the rest of the windows been like this for the last two years never really bugged me. This avalanche is one of a kind it gets looks everywhere and it handles like its stock. Has tons of power with the 4.10 gearing Truck runs great any issue its ever had has been professionally fixed right away. I will try to get more interior pics. The interior is very clean leather no rips or stains I just cant find my camera to get more pics of it. You can call or text message me and I can text you pics of anything you want to see on the truck. My number is 360-770-0011 and my names Jake. I still owe a little on my Avalanche we will have to go to the bank together and pay it off and go to the my local DOL and transfer it in your name. The bank has everything set up and ready to go. If you want to get a loan I can give you the bank information as well so your bank can do the transfer with them. When you pic up it must be cash or a certified cashiers check so the title can be released. If you have any questions please message call or text me at 360-770-0011 if I don't answerer please leave a voice mail.

GM's Reuss predicts 2016 Chevy Camaro will outperform Ford Mustang in every way

Tue, Apr 7 2015

We aren't going to be seeing the next-generation Chevrolet Camaro until next month. But even though we know when we're going to see the new muscle car, it's totally unclear whether Chevy will dole out technical details. That means we can't answer the latest version of the age-old question: Camaro or Ford Mustang? Not surprisingly, General Motors North America President Mark Reuss has already stated his position, saying he was "very confident" that the sixth-generation Camaro will be faster, more agile and more efficient than the Ford. Reuss made his comments after saying he drove the new Camaro back-to-back with the Mustang the week prior. Reuss' statement came in a conversation with Fox News about the 2016 Camaro where he elaborated on the car's weight shedding and how it fit into GM's strategy on other new models. "There are some really cool things in the Camaro, that are quite different than the Malibu, [and] CT6," Reuss told Fox. As we reported previously, the Camaro will shed some 200 pounds by switching to aluminum and other lightweight composites for some of its components. With May 16 just over a month away, here's hoping Reuss decides to loose some other details on the next Camaro ahead of its debut. Related Video:

24 Hours of Le Mans live update part two

Sun, Jun 19 2016

We tasked surfing journalist Rory Parker to watch this year's live stream of the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans. What follows is an experiment to experience the world's greatest endurance race from the perspective of a motorsports novice. Parker lives in Hawaii and can hold his breath longer than he can go without swearing. For Part One, click here. Or you can skip ahead to Part Three here. I write about surfing for a living. If you can call it a living. Basically means I spend my days fucking around and my wife pays for everything. Because she's got a real job that pays well. Brings home the bacon. Very progressive arrangement. Super twenty first century. I run a surf website, beachgrit.com, with two other guys. It's a strange gig. More or less uncensored. Kind of popular. Very good at alienating advertisers. My behavior has cost us a few bucks. I'm terrible at self-censorship. Know there's a line out there, no idea where it lies. I still don't understand any of the technical side. Might as well be astrophysics or something. For contests I do long rambling write ups. They rarely make much sense. Mainly just talk about my life, whatever random thoughts pop into my head. "Can you do something similar for Le Mans?" "Sure, but I know absolutely fuck-all about racing." "That's okay. Just write what you want." "Will do. But you're gonna need to edit my stuff. Probably censor it heavily." So here I am. I spent the last week trying to learn all I can about the sport of endurance racing. But there's only so much you can jam in your head. And I still don't understand any of the technical side. Might as well be astrophysics or something. While I rambled things were happening. Tracy Krohn spun into the gravel on the Forza chicane. #89 is out of the race after an accident I missed. Pegasus racing hit the wall on the Porsche curves. Bashed up front end, in the garage getting fixed. Toyota and Porsche are swapping back and forth in the front three. Ford back in the lead in GTE Pro. #91 Porsche took a stone through the radiator, down two laps. Not good. The wife and I are one of those weird childless couples that spend way too much time caring for the needs of their pet. French bulldog, Mr Eugene Victor Debs. Great little guy. Spent the last four years training him to be obedient and friendly. Nice thing about dogs, when you're sick of dealing with them you can just lock 'em in another room for a few hours. You don't need to worry about paying for college.

Chevy Bolt officially keeping name, says marketing boss

Thu, Apr 16 2015

There might be just a little confusion at first, but the Bolt name is sticking around. After conducting two consumer studies into the name, Chevrolet isn't worried about the similarity of the monikers for the upcoming EV and existing Volt plug-in hybrid. In fact, the brand thinks the resemblance might be for the best. "The decision is made. The name won't be changed." Chevy head of marketing Tim Mahoney said to The Detroit Free Press. The research shows that the compatibility between the two names actually works quite well. With the Volt well established, people apparently already connect the Bolt to the Bowtie, which is just what a brand wants. Both studies indicated the ""same result, it did well," according to Mahoney. Just a few months ago, the future of the Bolt's name wasn't so clear. GM North America President Alan Batey said the company knew there might be confusion, and it was still mulling its options. The Bolt could be a breakthrough in the EV market with a 200-mile range and a possible price of around $30,000 after incentives. Production is set for the Orion Assembly plant in Michigan following a $200 million upgrade there, and the model could be in dealers as soon as 2017. That's just in time to take on the Tesla Model 3 with its claimed $35,000 price and similar driving distance as the Chevy. Related Video:
