Now onward...

This 1996 Cadillac Seville STS, features a 300HP 8 Cylinder Northstar cylinder engine and automatic transmission. Power windows, locks, seats, glass sunroof and mirrors along with tan leather interior and floor mats round out the inside. This Seville  has 117k miles and  runs and drives smooth with the luxury Cadillac is known for, does not stall or overheat.  Brakes work, radio works, lights work, horn works, heat blows warm but AC will need a freon charge. Tires have OK tread. Passenger side window does not work, may be the motor or the regulator (easy fix). I just replaced the fuel pump 5 days ago ($300, receipt provided). They can be purchased here on ebay or I have someone local I can recommend to do the repair. There is an oil leak from what looks like the oil seal but as I haven't gotten under the car, thats my best guess, as that's the area its coming from. Oil ring seal is a few bucks at your local auto parts store.  Body is straight with no dents dings or missing parts, and aside from the driver front seat, interior is in good condition and a good washing and/or detailing and a seat cover will make this car sparkle.

Title is clear California title but car comes with California Lien Sale papers. Please Google if you don't know what that means. But they are the best documents you can have to insure clear clean title and transfer of vehicle ownership. The car will be $161 to register in the state of California as stated on the CA DMV website.  You've always wanted to own a Cadi, now here's your chance. And for a good cause. As I am so fortunate, I've decided to give back and donate a portion of the proceeds to charity and I'm allowing the winning bidder to choose.  A good deed from both of us :-)

Low opening bid of $200 or why wait when you can Buy It Now for $1,250. But don't wait to decide, cars go fast on eBay, so don't miss out!

I have done my best to give an accurate and detailed description, but if I have inadvertently left anything out, please do not hesitate to ask, as all questions are answered promptly.

Buyers should always and are welcomed and encouraged to practice due diligence, so if you are local to the Los Angeles area, you are welcome to contact me to schedule a viewing.

Thanks for looking and happy motoring!

This is a used car, an 18 year old used car. You will NOT receive a new car. This motor vehicle is being sold AS IS with all faults, including but not limited to those described herein, as well as any other defects, whether or nor presently known or discoverable with or without inspection and operation of the vehicle. The California Vehicle Code (CVC) 24007 (b) (2) issued in accordance with section 44015 of the Health and Safety Code, states that buyers can be presented with a certificate of compliance or a certificate of non-compliance (that has been issued within 90 days) before or at the time of sale. This will allow buyers to pay the registration fees and tax then transfer the car into their name at the DMV and provides them with 90 days of temporary registration from the time the certificate of non-compliance was issued for the vehicle, thus allowing the buyer time to repair the vehicle and bring it into smog conformity. This vehicle will be delivered with  California Lien Sale papers, an AS IS No Warranty Waiver and Bill of Sale. This is all the paperwork you will receive. Verify with your state if this is sufficient to register the vehicle in your state, as it is all you will receive. Thu, Jan 17 2019

The 2019 North American International Auto Show might have been a little more quiet than past years, but there were still some pretty major reveals, including the Toyota Supra, new Ford Explorer, Shelby GT500, Subaru WRX STI S209 and Kia Telluride. We also saw some lovely concepts like the Nissan IMs and Lexus LC Convertible. Senior Editor Alex Kierstein, Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski and Senior Green Editor John Beltz Snyder join me, Associate Editor Reese Counts — with Social Media Manager Michael Dylan Ferrara behind the camera — on a long walk through the show. We discuss cars, poke around the stands, dress a bloody wound and answer your questions in the Facebook comments. For more Detroit coverage, you can check out Autoblog's picks for the best in show, listen to our podcast or look at the best images from all the reveals. Finally, don't forget to watch Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore hand over our 2019 Technology of the Year award. 2016 Cadillac CTS-V prepares to kick ass, take names

Tue, Jan 13 2015

Some stories write themselves. This post on the North American International Auto Show debut of the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V is one of them. This 200-mile-per-hour sedan pilfers the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 from the Chevy Corvette Z06, and puts it to the same tire-devastating effect, offering up 640 horsepower and 630 pound-feet of torque. An eight-speed automatic – please join us in a moment of silence for the dearly departed manual CTS-V – then dispatches the force-induced thrust to a very large, sticky set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. To ensure the CTS-V can tear your face off with lateral Gs as well as accelerative Gs, Cadillac stiffened the car's structure by 25 percent, fitted magnetic ride control and fitted the aforementioned tires. Beyond the mechanicals, a substantial rear spoiler, front splitter and diffuser improve grip through aerodynamics. Keeping drivers pinned during all this tire shredding and face tearing is the task of meaty, two-piece Recaro sport seats, which are found in a luxuriously appointed cabin, complete with 4G LTE connectivity, a Bose stereo and Siri Eyes Free. There's even a Performance Data Recorder, which will be on hand to record your miscues if (or perhaps when) the car's extreme abilities outpace your own talents. Take a look at our array of live images from the CTS-V's official debut at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show.

2017 Cadillac CTS-V Drivers' Notes | V is for velocity

Fri, Sep 29 2017

The 2017 Cadillac CTS-V is as close to a four-door Corvette Z06 as you're ever likely to get. Underneath the carbon-fiber hood rests one hell of an engine, a 640-horsepower supercharged V8. It's only slightly less powerful than what you'll find in the Corvette. Thanks to GM's chassis wizards, the car's handling is an equal match for the powerful engine. This particular car packs in a number of options, including Recaro seats and the performance data recorder that allows owners to measure lap times and record video. The most expensive option is the $6,950 Carbon Black Package. This nets you a carbon fiber hood vent, front splitter, spoiler and rear diffuser. This car isn't cheap, but it does undercut the less powerful Audi RS7 and Mercedes-AMG E63 S. Associate Editor Joel Stocksdale: This is a seriously fun, if also flawed, car. And the biggest contributor to the fun is the big lump of V8 under the hood. The supercharged 6.2-liter makes 640 horsepower, but Cadillac could've left the number off and just called it "effortless." The gentlest pressure on the gas pedal will result in you picking up an extra 10 mph without ever noticing. And when you stomp on it, you get this huge and immediate surge of acceleration. It's truly giggle-inducing. Although the CTS-V is big and heavy, it handles the power well. It gives you enough info on what's happening so you feel in control, and the chassis is impressively composed. The only real weak points I can find on the CTS-V (besides the low gas mileage) are the interior controls. They are abysmal. The infotainment screen is pretty poor, with a clutter of information at the main screen, and difficult-to-find commands for getting to other menus. But worse than that are the climate and volume buttons. They're all touch-sensitive spots on the center stack. They're not very responsive, and the vibratory feedback it provides isn't noticeable while driving. It doesn't help that the feedback feels pretty inconsistent, too. For me, I think I could learn to live with the infotainment, simply because I love the way the rest of the car feels and drives. But, Cadillac, you need to get to updating this ASAP. Associate Editor Reese Counts: OK, Cadillac's infotainment system sucks. Let's get that out of the way. Touch capacitive interfaces don't work well in cars. This does have the old version of CUE, so I'm hoping the next-gen system will fix some of the interface issues. Like Joel, this wouldn't turn me off from buying the car.
