Up for grabs is a 1983 Cadillac Seville that carfax and auto
check show to be 39,512 actual miles. She has an automatic transmission that
shifts nice and strong I have taken her for a few rides and never felt anything
irregular. The engine runs very strong as well and starts right up every time.
The body is in nice shape overall with minor scratches here and there and one
spot of pitting on the door. There is some rust on the bottom seems of the
doors and on the edge of the hood. This Cadillac was repainted at some point
but done professionally and the paint is in good condition. The interior is in
very nice condition with only minimal signs of wear on the leather. The air
blows ice cold and blows nice and strong. The tires all have a lot of tread and
look to be almost new. I own a small car dealership in Florence South Carolina and
purchased this off a older local gentleman who had no need for it anymore. Any questions

GM recalls Chevy Impala, Cadillac XTS for braking problem
Sun, 21 Sep 2014Back in April, General Motors launched an investigation into braking issues affecting the 2014 Chevy Impala. Now there's a recall of both the Impala and the Cadillac XTS with which it shares its Epsilon II platform.
The issue apparently revolves around the electronic parking brake, which may not properly disengage. As a result, the rear brake pads could rub the rotor even while the vehicle is in motion, causing "significant heat, smoke and sparks." The earlier investigation had been launched following a complaint regarding the forward collision avoidance system, which is now either appears to have been unrelated or possibly a symptom of this larger issue.
The recall affects 2013-15 XTS models manufactured between February 14, 2012, and August 22, 2014, as well as 2014-15 Impalas manufactured between January 15, 2013, and August 22, 2014. The total number of affected vehicles reported by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration comes to precisely 132,921 units, while The Detroit News reports a higher total of 205,000 units - the difference potentially coming down to the scope within the US and more broadly across North America. Dealers will contact owners to update the software in order to fix the problem.

Cadillac confirmed Friday morning it will build its new flagship sedan, expected to be called the LTS, starting in late in 2015 in Detroit.
Is this the 2014-15 Cadillac Escalade?
Fri, 19 Apr 2013Following the introduction of the redesigned Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, we're expecting General Motors won't wait too much longer to show off the next-generation fullsize SUVs that share this platform - including the Cadillac Escalade. It's still not clear if the next Escalade will debut for the 2014 or 2015 model years, but Carscoops has what it claims to an exclusive first look of the new Cadillac, revealing a portion of the headlight, front fascia and wheel.
Judging from this small picture, it looks like the Escalade could incorporate styling cues that we've seen on new Cadillac models like the ELR and the 2014 CTS, but that article says that other design details could include tall, vertical taillights similar to the CTS Wagon, staggered-width wheels and a narrower daylight opening for the side windows. The last time we saw the fourth-generation 'Slade back in October in spy shots, the heavy camouflage prevented us from getting an idea of the luxury SUV's appearance, but this image and description gives us something to look forward to.
