This is a 1985 Cadillac Eldorado, My parents purchased it brand new, it currently has 62039 miles on it. it was in their garage from 1997 until 2010. The car runs great and drives and stops. brakes are good. everything works except the a/c it needs to be charged. the car needs a new headliner and sunvisors. and the drivers side armrest on the door is cracked. the rest of the interior is in great condition. the plastic bumper fillers need to be replaced. the bose stereo works but sometimes makes a high pitched noise when it is on. not all the time. aerial needs replaced. there is only surface rust on the car as shown in the pictures. I will not ship this car anywhere, it must be picked up here at zipcode 18932, title must be transferred before picking up vehicle. if buyer wants to arrange pickup or shipping with an agent or shipping company that is ok as long as title is transferred. $500.00 dollar deposit required. paypal accepted. This car has the dealer added cabriolet roof, also has aftermarket continental kit, rolls Royce grille and trunk straps which are no longer manufactured. They have rust but can be rechromed. selling car with reasonable reserve.

2013 North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year finalists announced [w/poll]
Wed, 12 Dec 20122012 is almost in the books and automakers are spending December gearing up for the 2013 auto show season, which tips off next month at the Detroit Auto Show. Traditionally, the latter opens up with the announcement of the North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year awards, and this year figures to be no different.
But up until this moment, we didn't know which six vehicles would be parked ahead of the stage as finalists, with executives and engineers waiting for the winners to be disclosed. Whittled down from October's "short list" of nominees (11 cars and 10 truck/utility vehicles), the finalists are as follows:

The picturesque coastal city is about 300 miles from my home in Los Angeles, which means cramped and uncomfortable regional aircraft are part of the equation when the turnaround is only one night. Over the years, I have cursed the LA Basin's bumper-to-bumper traffic en route to the airport, argued with TSA personnel over carry-on baggage and waited countless hours for the fog to lift just for the anguish of being packed into a small regional jet for the flight. Of course, the process repeats on the trip home with equal misery.
Yet this time I am not suffering.
Cadillac has dropped its all-new 2015 Escalade in my driveway. Instead of battling city congestion, attempting to reason with misinformed government agents, snacking on a too-small bag of pretzels and physically rubbing shoulders with a dubious stranger for 90-plus minutes within the confines of a bumpy aircraft, I have chosen to forgo air travel and drive myself door-to-door in a fullsize luxury sport utility vehicle.
