2009 Cadillac Dts Base Sedan 4-door 4.6l *thousands Invested * Wheels*jl Sound* on 2040-cars

LaGrange, Georgia, United States

2009 DTS with thousands invested from cosmetics to sound. Under 60,000 pampered miles with every option in working order. Smoke free, pet free.  Fully loaded for this year except sunroof. Lets talk about exterior:

T-Rex upper and lower grill.

Silver 3M wrap that looks amazing. Factory paint is champagne. The wrap is professionally done and can be removed at anytime. The top (roof) is 3M carbon fiber. It really sets a nice contrast from the silver.

Headlights and taillights are lightly tinted along with windows.

Wheels are 22 inch Koko Kuture and tires are Lexani. No rub and yes the tire sensors are installed so on those cold mornings you can still see your PSI. Car rides like stock wheels give you the "wow" factor.

Interior is completely stock in the cabin except for the Alpine headunit that includes all the goodies. Ipod, Nav, Rear Camera installed, Pandara, Sirius, etc. The car has 3 Rockford Fosgate component sets. Front, rear door and rear deck. The trunk speaks for itself in the pictures, 3 JL W3 12" subs in a custom orange suede box. The entire system is powered by (in my opinion) the best 5 channel amp ever created, a Rockford Fosgate Power1000. It's a beast, sound quality can't be rivaled today. The stereo is loud, extremely loud. The best part is the headunit is able to turn the subs off and you can listen to the high quality surround sound. Hands down the new owner will get a show car at a price that dealerships charge for a stock DTS. YOU CANNOT BEAT THIS DEAL, PERIOD.

I have purchased and sold vehicles on eBay. I know when you make a major purchase like this a person has questions and would possibly want to see the vehicle. Vehicle is located in LaGrange, GA and is available for inspection. Also, my phone number is 706-412-8331. Also, check out my listing on my custom 2012 Roush Stage 3 - Thanks, Eric.

Cadillac ATS to go racing in 2015 as CTS.V.R replacement

Thu, 21 Aug 2014

Cadillac has been racking up victories with the CTS.V.R in Pirelli World Challenge racing for two model generations now, including recent GT class championships in 2012 and 2013. However, even winning racers eventually have to retire, and it looks like the CTS may be taking a bow at the end of the season. In its place, Caddy is reportedly working on a new racecar based on the ATS Coupe, and it might even get to compete internationally.
According to Racer, Pratt & Miller Engineering is leading the development and is already lapping the ATS racecar in Michigan for testing. It reportedly drops the CTS' V8 in favor of a twin-turbocharged V6 powering the rear wheels. Since this is the same team behind the hugely successful Corvette Racing program and the current CTS.V.R, the latest car appears to be in good hands.
The new model would also adhere to GT3 rules, according to Racer, and that might signal a big change for Cadillac's motorsports program. It means that the ATS could be sold to teams in the numerous series around the world that accept these vehicles. That would broaden the luxury coupe's exposure and put it up against GT3 racecars from premium brands, like Bentley, Porsche and McLaren. If it wins, the change could be a marketing bonanza for the brand.

2014 Cadillac CTS configurator open for business

Thu, 26 Sep 2013

Cadillac has just set the new configurator for the redesigned, 2014 CTS live. While we've already tested out the new CTS, this is our first chance to play with all the interior and exterior color options and to get a fair idea of the price. The new CTS covers a broad swath from the $46,025 base model, with the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, to the $59,995 VSport, complete with its brawny, 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged V6.
It doesn't take much to send the CTS's price up from there, though. Opt for the VSport Premium trim, and the price immediately jumps $10,000. Opting for one of the premium paint colors is all that's needed to nudge the CTS past $70,000. For reference, a 556-horsepower CTS-V (previous-generation, naturally) starts at $64,515.

Bridging The Gap With Power And Poise
As you read these words, West Coast Editor Michael Harley is preparing to drive the brand-new 2014 Cadillac CTS along the gorgeous, sun-drenched roads of Southern California. And while I'll wait for Harley's full report before I put words in his mouth, I'm willing to bet he enjoys the hell out of Cadillac's new CTS. In fact, I'm sure of it.
I say this with confidence because, about a month ago, I spent the better part of a day flogging the new CTS Vsport around the 2.9-mile Milford Road Course - a challenging circuit laid out in the infield of an oval test track at GM's proving grounds in southeast Michigan. The MRC was built about a decade ago after Bob Lutz was lured out of retirement to work closely with GM's product development team, and thus, this circuit is known informally as the "Lutz Ring." The main objective of the MRC was to have an in-house facility for engineers to fine-tune vehicle dynamics, without having to constantly schlep cars over to Germany's infamous Nürburgring. (Of course, they still do.)
