This car is up for sale out of private collection is a 1970 Buick GS 455 non console 4 speed. All original drive train, matching numbers. Only 34,214 original miles. One of 510 in 1970 Buick GS 455 built. Unsure of how many all black but it's definitely a low amount.....legendary interior is perfect. All gauges, dash, radio were totally restored with original hurst shifter. The car was restored by American muscle car restoration inc. the trunk is how it should be with correct spare, jack and mat. Undercarriage and engine bay are show ready, car has dog dish caps with Goodyear polyglas gt 60-15 tires. It has front disk brakes, am/fm radio tach, headrest's, remote mirrors, original floor mats, pictures do this car no justice. Documented from Buick to be correct GS. 70K invested. 2014 Chevy Malibu, Buick LaCrosse recalled over brake mix-up
Thu, 08 May 2014The recall madness over at General Motors isn't letting up anytime soon, as evidenced by this latest call-back of 8,208 Chevrolet Malibu and Buick LaCrosse sedans. For those keeping track, this is the fifth recall that GM has announced in the past two weeks, not to mention the massive ignition-switch issue from earlier this year.
GM issued a statement saying these sedans are being recalled due to "possible reduced braking performance," according to Automotive News. The problem? Rear brake rotors may have accidentally been installed in the front brake assembly. And since both cars use more robust braking systems up front than out back, braking power could be reduced, increasing the risk of a crash.
Automotive News reports that, of the over 8,000 cars being recalled, about 1,700 are currently in the hands of customers, while the others are still in dealer inventory. GM is unaware of any crashes or injuries related to this problem. All of the affected vehicles are from the 2014 model year.

We admit it. We have no earthly idea how this whole thing is going to shake out.
Typically, after driving a new car or truck, we come away prepared to hazard a guess as to whether said model has a good chance of being a sales success. We've amassed enough time watching the industry, scrutinizing the competitors, and so on, to make a reasonably educated bet. Yet here we are, days removed from driving the new 2013 Buick Encore, and we still have no bloody idea.
